I'm bored rigid. Mr Hole has popped out to watch the footie, the baybeh is sleeping and my son is out with his friends. Everything has been cleaned, tidied, etc. Wizzy and I watched The Lion King, yet I'm still bored.

Tell me what you do on shitty days like today?

<don't tell me only boring people get bored, it's the biggest load of old bollox I ever did hear>

Blimey woman you are always up and at it sooo early on a Saturday! Can you teach me how to move my arse so I can do the same please! I woke up at 7.15am for some reason, watched 2 loads of Come Dine With Me, fannied around alllll morning, had a bath etc and finally got dressed about 1pm! Been into town for sushi lunch, and wandered around the shops for a bit and all I came back with was a deodorant ? - I really know how to waste my Saturdays!

Have now been fannying around for a further 1.5 hours while deciding whether to watch 'Made of Honour' or 'Imagine Me & You' on DVD, both of which look utterly cheese-tastic - woo! ?

And I've shrunk my pretty black sparkley (but wool) All Saints dress, it's minute now! ?

Holio, can you microwave while grilling? That would be impressive!

Today I have been out and bought some plants while getting soaked. Taken the dog for 2 walks and got soaked, been out in the garden and got...... See the pattern. I've also made dinner so MrPod had sth to take to work and had a 'discussion' with my MIL about when she upset me/us before Christmas. It wasn't an argument but I got to tell her what I wanted to which was good.

I wouldn't really recommend any of the above to relieve boredom.

MrPod has gone to work now so I'm going to change into PJs and veg for the rest of the evening. I was invited to drinks in my friend's new house but I said no, I knackered and looking forward to being a SND

Oh yes, according to the manual it can indeed microwave and grill at the same time, I might save that for tomorrow though, don't want to overdose on excitement ?

I'm glad you got to say what you needed to, it was long overdue and I hope she takes it onboard ?

G is staying at his friends house tonight, so after Wizzy is in bed we're going to get an Indian and slob out ourselves. Saying that, D just got back and said he might go over the clubhouse tonight because there's a function on. Party hard in Norf Issix, dudes ?

I get up at 6 in the week and I think this helps with early rising at the weekend! I'm doing a Masters so I feel a bit pushed to fit in life around work and studying so get up early if I want to do anything other than study ? If I didn't have that to do, I would happily fanny about all day ?

I forgot to mention the lovely young boy in House of Fraser who made me blush. He asked if the dress was for a special occassion and I said I had 5 weddings coming up and would wear it to some of those. He asked if there were any wedding bells for me and when I said I'd been married 5 years he asked if I'd got married at 17 ?. I said "I've already said yes to the storecard, you don't need to say that" but I'm sure he saw my red face.

The dress sounds lovely, would it fit someone 4 or 5 inches shorter than you? ? Did you put it in the washing machine? Can you take it back?

That is indeed a marvel of modern technology. Can you save the test until about this time tomorrow so I can know the results immediately. If not I think you should make D's dinner entirely in it tomorrow. Bet he would be delighted?

The conversation with MIL was good. I got the words absurd, precious, ridiculous and inordinate over reaction into my response. It felt goooooooooood.

Sounds like it's rock and roll in Issix. Nearly as exciting as surreyshire. SIL and the boi are in the area. I might turn the lights off.
