We're in the process of choosing a new car and I wondered what you drive, and why you chose that car. What would you like to be driving? What's your money-no-object choice too - would you go classic beauty, performance super car or something else? Despite a couple of questions in just a few days,...

Despite a couple of questions in just a few days, I'm not a huge car person. How about you?

We swap cars quite a bit, but 'my' car is a mazda2. Had it from new, and it was a bargin! Very cheap to run, no problems with it, customer service is great, and its a good fun car to drive, even H loves it and he is car, motorbike and generally engine mad (he is an aircraft engineer! so plays around with Jet engines lots!)

    This is our other car:

Audi 3.2 Quattro TT. It is a great car to ride, but is expensive, £450 a year for tax. We have also come to realise the shoddy reliabilty of Audi. If you buy one, just make sure you invest the few hundred pound extra on the warrenty as parts are so expensive. We are quite looking forward to getting rid of it. We were looking for a bigger car again for carrying lots of gear, been looking around Audi Q3 looks amazing, but as new model expensive, and I dont think we will be swayed by another audi. We really like the look of the Volvo XC60. Think we might get that next year.

dont think our cars say anything about us, maybe the audi says childless couple as only 2 seats!

If you want a run around with a few long journeys, I would recommend the mazda 2 everytime, the audi yes as a fun car as long as you have a warrenty and accept that it will cost you money to run.
