Personally, I'm not keen on Martini Asti - too sweet for me. But then some people don't like champagne so you can't always win!

I don't think it's tacky at all....afterall it's your day, so have what you want!

I think we will have Asti tbh as a Champagne Toast is going to cost a fair bit of money that could be spent on other things like the favours.

Yep I agree, you should have whatever you like! For me personally Asti is too sweet but i'm a dry white wine drinking so we will be going for something like cava, prosecco or champagne dependant on budget.

I love martini and hate wine and champs so would deffo be good for me

Thanks ladies, our white wine is a sauvignon blanc (quite dry) so maybe it will be good to cater for a mix of tastes by providing a little extra Asti.

Sounds perfect to me i love the stuff i like it better than wine and champagne! its your wedding have larger to toast if you want haha

We had sparkling wine for the toast rather than Champagne. Don't think it matters at all.

Not mad on Champagne , find it a bit too dry, but love Asti, could drink gallons of the stuff ;-))

I don't like it, I'm afraid. It's much more sticky than Champagne, prosecco or cava and, aside from the fact it makes me gag, I'd be paranoid that there'd be swarms of wasps chasing my guests around!
