What don't you find attractive in your h/mf/ significant other?

*Mini*, 19 November, 2013 at 17:22 Posted on Off Topic Posts 0 38

Inspired by the other thread. What about your other half do you not find attractive? I won't accept any answers of 'no he's perfect'

I dislike mrminis feet. They are ugly, dry and scaly with hairy toes. Vom.

His bum stinks. And his eyebrows could do with a tidy up.

He has just spent the last hour doing the most vile farts I have ever smelt. He thinks it's hilarious.

His teeth. He has a big chip in his front tooth.

His thighs. They are covered in old self harm scars, and a REALLY bad, unfinished tattoo.

Do you pluck them for him? Mrmini has a mono brow. I set to work every now and again to get rid of the nose based stragglers. He protests a lot.

Definitely feet too, I dislike feet in general but he has hairy toes and dry heels, he does nothing to them except cut his toenails so they're a bit manky ?

My OH doesn't even cut his toenails, he just rips them off ?

I have also been known to attack his monobrow too - he's gradually becoming more tolerant!

Feel a bit guilty writing this!

I have to really fight to get near boyos eyebrows with my tweezers.

His farting will sometimes make me laugh or sometimes disgust me.

worst is his laziness with jobs around the flat

his feet are fine physically but always cold.

This is not a physical dislike but one of the first times I went to stay at H's house, I opened one of the drawers in his bedside table and found loads and loads of toenail clippings ?

I have no idea why he put them in a drawer, except for the fact that he is a dirty boy!

His feet - he had both big toe nails removed and his feet look hideous, his smelly bum - his farts last forever and he has the most annoying noise for clearing his throat that grates on me every time he does it.

The random patch of hair that grows on his back..i call it 'The Monkey'. I wax it regually, with him prptesting and whining every time. He says why do I have to do i and my reply is always 'Do you WANT to get naked with me?!'?

Stinky bum (I'm sure his insides are wired wrong).

Messy yet rarely cleans up/tidies/does housework unless seriously nagged

    Incredibly stubourn.

Stereotypically he is a selfish only child at times.

Having said that, I love him to bits and the good outweigh the bad.

Sounds like I'm one of the lucky ones who has an OH who plucks his eyebrows HIMSELF! ?

However, I really don't like his toenails. He cuts them and files them down but they still cut me in the night if he doesn't wear socks! And they go through his socks as well, even though he's a size 9 and we buy bigger socks for him. *vom*

He also chomps his food and it's like he is doing it directly next to my ear. Even if I am eating too it's all I can hear. It's so annoying.

Ooh I out-wind my hubby every time. I don't do well if I eat too much onion...

mine is a collector of crap and leaves it everywhere. He buys too much in the pound shop. We have millions of everything. When we moved house I emptied the pen pots (2) and in them were 5 pairs of scissors and 3 screwdrivers. Fine, but he bought new screwdrives the other day so we had some 'handy'. As opposed to the non 'handy' ones in the garage then? He has 12 pairs of glasses. Half driving and half reading. All the right prescription.

For an autistic guy he seems very cluttered / disorganised.

His hair back...which he refuses to get waxed or let me pluck Smiley sad

It's not massively hairy, but any hair is bad on the back.

his nose. He gets blackheads but rarely does anything about them. Occasionally he'll let me at them, but moans that it feels like I'm going to break his nose! Pah. I keep getting him to do biore strips, but he doesn't do it off his own back.

He has proper meat farts and god help us if he eats chicken, chicken makes him smell like something died inside him.

He blows his nose in the middle of dinner and folds the tissue up and puts it next to his plate. (I know people have to blow their nose, it's just the timing and indiscretion ?).

I sometimes catch him picking his nose. When he's drunk and gets off to sleep earlier than me his snoring keeps me awake and I'm forever trying to shake him awake then feel guilty.

Also when drunk he eats really slowly and slurpily, when sober it's fine. I would never have married a noisy eater!!!

Haha, so many of you don't like your OH's farts. In our house it's my farts that H tries to escape....he rarely farts and when he does they don't smell. Me on the other hand, I could empty a room daily!

He picks his nose. I hand him a tissue or the box and he ignores them.

He also has what I've dubbed a "grasshopper brain" - he flits from one DIY task to another without finishing the previous one. I think he gets bored half-way through and moves onto something more interesting until he gets bored of that. I end up with a house full of half finished jobs and have to either pay someone to come in and finish it off, or ask my Dad very nicely to help us.

The other thing that I find unattractive is his reaction to his family. They do something very small, like send a card for his birthday three weeks after his actual birthday and suddenly they're the most awesome people ever and he's oh so grateful, but he totally overlooks the stuff that my family do for us on a regular basis. He's planning to spaff our small amount of savings (which we've put aside to do stuff in the house, like re-carpet & repair the garage roof) on gifts for his sisters because "they visited a couple of times" when he was in hospital. His family are so not worth it, and he's trying to buy their affection. ?

Ooops, that turned into a rant. I do love him, honest!

I hate feet in general anyway, but my OH doesn't have toenails on his big toes so they look even worse than normal feet ?

I also hate when he tries to sound clever by using certain words but uses them in the wrong context so he actually sounds like an idiot.

His teeth are also quite stained from years of smoking, not as bad as they were but still not all that attractive.

At the moment, H is sporting a ruddy RIDICULOUS beard moustache thing. I have no other words to describe it than a "thing". He looks fucking stupid. Yes, so stupid that I have to swear.

Ex did this - it meant he had really jagged toe nails and I'd wake up with all sorts of scratches up my legs.

And he had a massively hairy back. Vom.

Don't hate me - but so far, there is nothing that I find unattractive about MF (although I suspect I dont see him enough to find out at the moment).

The most unattractive thing about H is his laziness. I'm lazy, dont get me wrong, but he will happily sit doing nothing of an evening while I'm cooking, washing up etc. The worst bit is when he does decide to do something and moans about what a state the flat is, even though he hasnt done anything about it and makes it feel like its all my fault. I like to sit too!!

He's awful at keeping his fingernails and toenails trimmed. I hate it. Hate hate hate it. Bleurgh. I also wish he would - just on occasion - dress smartly. He's a baggy jeans and band t-shirt guy through and through, but I would love for him to wear slightly more fitted jeans with a shirt or even a polo shirt. Oh, and I want to burn all his trainers and get him some naice shoes.

I feel awful and shallow for grumbling about the way he dresses though, so I keep that bit to myself. He wouldn't dream of telling me how to dress, after all.

Again, feet. He plays football so they are all mangled. I hate when he wears flip flops on holiday. (bi*ch!)

Also he sniffs, all.the.time. I will hand him a tissue and he blows a tiny bit and its clearly still snotty!
