Don't have a mortgage or a pension, but Doctors and Council tax added to my list

I know OP listed it, but I just want to highlight how important car insurance is - if you don't change your name and you have an accident then you can find that insurer will decline to claim - so do this asap! The argument is that, as part of the policy, you agree to keep your details up to date so worth keeping in mind!

My friend suggested keeping a list of anything that comes in the post with your name on it for a couple of months to make sure you have thought of everything!

Nope tax office is entirely your responsibility.

I'm following this! So far I have changed my name with my banks, I have sent off for my replacement driving license, informed my pet insurance & my mobile phone provider. Must get on with informing council tax, utility companies and car insurance company. I'm also renewing my passport as its due soon anyway & ive booked our next holiday in my married name.
