What have we all been up to today?

bridejuly2013, 16 November, 2013 at 16:55 Posted on Off Topic Posts 0 23

I was a total loser today as I was really looking forward to buying a new sofa and bed for the house we are due to move into at the end of the month. Big praise to furniture village, no pushy sales and an easy ordering process! Can't wait to get moved in now ?

Nothing exciting, I bought a DVD player for the spare room that is allegedly going to be my gym, in reality it is a general dumping ground and laundry.

then we went to see OH's folks and relived them of some furniture they dont want any more,

Now sat watching star wars in front of the fire while dinner cooks. I am afraid that we are just having oven cr@p tonight as i am stil recovering from what ever has been going wrong with my tummy and i dont want too much to eat.

Tomorrow we are going to a christmas fair in a local museum. that will be lovely.

Tis my birthday today but wasn't in the mood for celebrations at the mo. However, husband and friends had other ideas so we're having a takeaway and a few bottles of wine. I reckon I'll enjoy it more than I thought I would

Ooh lots of lovely sounding days there! Loving the Christmas market action! We went to Bolton Abbey for a walk, now home watching rugby and eating pies.

I was at college this morning and I had an exam (and passed), also passed my other assessment and have caught up from my illness/work absences last month. And it's a crappy theory unit too so normally you'd be very pushed for time so I'm happy.

Came home and had lunch with my mum and lazed on my bed (mattress in the living room - STILL!) and watched tv and did some college work.

Were just back from having a big greasy Dominoes which was really good and I'm now in my onesie in bed watching tv, doing college work and writing a shopping list for the morning. Also may finally be getting in the Christmas spirit (very very late for me!) and decided what I'm getting everyone so feeling a little cheerier than last week.

Although I thought it was about 9.30pm and it was only 6.30!!

I have been wandering around town trying to shop for my SS present (I failed!). I also bought a guy in a shop a cup of coffee because he was rather lovely and flirting with me (I know this makes me a terrible terrible person, but I do kind of know him, and I do run a coffee shop so he's a customer of mine anyway if that makes it any better).

Now I am waiting for my parents to get here, they are off to a gig so I get to kitten-sit the 14 day old hand rears my mum has from work Smiley laugh

    I am stupidly excited!

I've spent the day being pissed off with OH because he went out last night 'for a few drinks after work' except he didn't come home till 2:00pm this afternoon.

He has a habit of doing this & i'm sick of him being led astray by his mates. We were meant to be looking in to his wedding suit today so he has let me and his mother down all because he has to be the life & soul of the party and the last one home.

(can you tell I'm still furious?!!)

Today I have been a bad pregnant wife and have spent the whole day in my onesie watching awful girly films with the dog whilst feeling sick and tired.

My rather good husband has been up doing building work all day, I did make him a sandwich at lunch and cooked him a nice dinner so not a completely awful wife!

Today we had a nice day out, went to see a reindeer parade and M got lots of Christmas goodies, got OH to treat us to a nice lunch too and then we had a chippy for dinner and watched home alone 2. Going to have a nice bath tonight and get into my pyjamas and watch Cheers, maybe have a read of my bridget jones book!

Tomorrow have a busy day again taking OH Matthew to see Darth vader, batman and loads of others at hamleys in town, get some shopping done and ponse some more lunch out OH ?

Hope everyones having a nice weekend!

Also Pugsley - think OH owes you a night out for a nice meal or something, hope you're feeling a bit better after a shout at him Smiley smile

I have actually done nothing. Got up and did housework while OH took little one to get his hair cut, sat and watched OH channel hop through all the sports while little one hijacked the laptop and played Club Penguin all day. Hinted A LOT about wanting to go shopping/ go to Hobby Craft to purchase something to occupy me. Drank too much coffee, gave myself a manicure and watched X Factor. Meh.

I did lots of cleaning which was boring but necessary. The lowlight was dealing with a flood in the kitchen thanks to the crap plumbing by the previous owner of our house (disturbing as he works a plumber!). Went to meet with 2 gorgeous cats we will hopefully be adopting. Sorted the food shopping. I intended on going to the gym but ran out of time and went for a run instead. Now on the way back from dinner and drinks at a friends house which was good fun

    Good luck with the move!

Yesterday OH was hungover so I took dog out for a nice walk. Then we watched some Homeland. I made a curry and an apple crumble. OH has work at 6am on a Sunday so we had an early night.

Today is clean the house day. Also making a Mexican feast for lunch and then more revision!

The same as I do most weekdays, go to work, come home, eat, a few hours of TV/internet then bed, rock n roll.

Although the present I ordered for my secret otter arrived today, is it wrong that I actually want to keep it for myself?
