    Lovely!

My purchases are boring so I won't flash.

I went to primark at the weekend and raided their flipflops for the party-basket we're doing.

This week I've bought my hair-piece and my favours. I've also bought the little organza bags to put the favours in.

Kjay - loving the dresses! Gorgeous colour!

We're having them as name holders. Something like this but with a funny Polaroid picture of each person rather than a name

I've bought lots of little bits over the last couple of days but just a few flashes (my personalised items haven't arrived yet so flashing stock pics) :

    Plantable poppy seed favours

Yorkshire sayings mug for my lovely broad yorkie tea guzzling FIL

Other pics won't upload, but I have bought (amongst other things) a personalised Bridesmaid teddy for my 4yo, an engraved hip flask for my dad, mini engraved flasks for my OH and our TOG, a personalised charm for my MUA, and 6 oasis bouquet holders so I can start practising eek!!

Only 40 days to go and suddenly ridiculously excited!!! PLUS my 17yo son has just modelled his new suit for us.... Gorgeous!! :0)

Loving all the flashes. I feel like work has really gotten in the way of my hitching lately, as I've not had a spare minute to come on here during the day and I'm now neglecting my poor hubby to be in the evenings!

We haven't purchased anything recently, but have just had our final balance raised for the venue, so can I get away with flashing that again?

they have green curtains in there now, and new chairs as well, which can be seen in this picture (please don't quote this one):

As many flip flops as my local Primark had ... got a few strange looks.

It's my top tip for anyone making their own bunting! There is a lot of material in a king size duvet cover and two pillowcases, much cheaper than what it would cost to buy that amount of material! It's also patchwork design so I'll get lots of different patterns out of the one set!

I have been buying duvet covers and curtains from charity shops for my bunting, so much cheaper than buying fabric by the meter.

They were £39.95 for 100 from autism awareness. I did want the pin ribbons but at nearly £5 each they were pricey!

Is there a particular type of bunting you are after? There is a seller on ebay doing 40 feet for £9. I haven't ordered any yet so cant comment on the quality but could be worth a shot? Even if its rubbish then you havent really lost out? Im buying some for the new house.

I bought all the mens suits (sorted and ready in the wardrobe)

Some black duck tape to put on the handles of the bridesmaids bouquets. They were white and would stand out with their black dresses.

Have you thought about some thick ribbon and double sided tape? I used blue ribbon and tape for my BM bouquets and it looked great.

    Most recent purchases:

leaf skeletons, multicoloured, just to decorate some of the branches on the wishing tree that OH is making.

    extending poles to support flags/bunting.

ground screw spikes to support poles.

..and I bought a dress this morning for £31 incl postage but as I won't even be able to try it on until I've lost another 2st at least this is a bit of a risk, albeit a bargain one!

Sorry can't flash as don't have urls for the pictures.

Thanks Pompey Smiley smile I did try ribbon but wasn't sure how to make it stay. Didn't think of double sided. I will have to get some and have a trial run on my spare holder.
