To be honest we discussed and decided not to buy each other anything. Its an extra expense we dont need and pressure as we wouldnt know what to get each other.

I'm going to get him personalised boxers, socks and cufflinks for the day as a surprise. They don't cost too much, so not much of an extra expense.

Want to get him something to put an extra smile on his face on the morning Smiley smile

I have got him some cufflinks with a picture of us on. They were on £7 from ebay!

Also have a boudiour shoot with Peter next weekend to get some photo's to put in an album for him - won that in the Hitched raffle as well so should be fairly cheap!

So will probably get him a watch as well as nothing so far has cost me very much. I have, however, been buying cards as and when I see appropriate ones. I have a funny one, a cute one and a personalised one so far. Just going to hide them around the flat the day before for him to find on the morning.

He wanted a vintage style pocket watch so I have that (he chose it) and will get it engraved. He uses hankies so thinking of embroidering one of those for him too.

My problem is I can't think of anything for him to buy me! I have all my jewellery etc...

I'm hoping to arrange my hitched prize photo shoot before then so I can buy some budoir photos to make an album, I've also bought some personalised socks that someone else posted on here recently, they say 'So you don't get cold feet' on 1 foot and his name & wedding date on the other

Im thinking of a 'boudoir shoot' as a pressie just to remind him of what his future has to hold!

my sister in law is a photographer and i would feel really comfortable with her, not sure if i would with any one else though!

if i wasnt doing that, i guess a nice whisky or something bass related!! something that i know would mean something to him!!

We have decided to choose each other a new perfume as a wedding gift, so every time we wear it it will always remind us of our special day.

Go for the Boudoir shoot- its really good fun! If you feel uncomfortable then go for a place where their is an all female team.

    Love Your Life---Henry David Thoreau
However mean your life is, meet it and live it; do not shun it and call it hard names. It is not so bad as you are.

It looks poorest when you are richest. The faultfinder will find faults in paradise. Love your life, poor as it is.

You may perhaps have some pleasant, thrilling, glorious hours, even in a poorhouse.
The setting sun is reflected from the windows of the alms-house as brightly as from the rich man's abode; the

snow melts before its door as early in the spring. I do not see but a quiet mind may live as contentedly there,

and have as cheering thoughts, as in a palace. The town's poor seem to me often to live the most independent

lives of any. May be they are simply great enough to receive without misgiving.
Most think that they are above being supported by the town; but it often happens that they are not above

supporting themselves by dishonest means. Which should be more disreputable. Cultivate poverty like a garden

    herb, like sage.
Do not trouble yourself much to get new things, whether clothes or friends, Turn the old, return to them.

Things do not change; we change. Sell your clothes and keep your thoughts.2010 Wedding Gow
