What is going on?

Never really posted in it much anymore but used to read it, was getting a bit angry and hostile when I looked on Fri so is that why its gone?

Has the FB group gone what happened? Is there another one. I really can't keep up ?

Kind of funny that after all this talk of cliques, one has been formed in secret!

Errr.... Since when has Facebook been a competitor for Hitched? I think if Hitched were to try and go up against facebook, it'd be laughed out of the room.....

Except we're not inviting anyone to a forum or another website.

I really, really dont understand these double standards and one rule for one, another for another approach. When people were using Hitched to invite people into the other group (that has now been deleted) there was no problem?

With all due respect, Sherrie, that is the most absurd argument for deleting this morning's thread.

No, but you don't mind being incredibly hypocritical and condescending by trying to enforce them when you were perfectly content to be a member of the original facebook group.

Sherrie I don't understand why this group is causing an issue when the other group included mods as members? Why is it different?

Oh for goodness sake......the fb group is gone, hitched has rules, people get bored by the same arguments / comments coming up again and again from the same people.

Maybe its time to just move on?

To be quite honest I am sick to death of all this now and am walking away from the lot. There is a real world out there that needs my attention more than this.

Hitched might have rules, but those rules don't extend to FB.

Everyone seems to walk away and want it closed.. Only once they've had their say though.

Get over it. The group has been deleted and people like Sherrie and Lynsey are busy running real life businesses.

Give them some slack and stop being so rude.

If Hitched is not want you want it to be then leave. I am more concerned about my wedding then bitching!!

They aren't bitching, merely asking a question. We have all been on Hitched for a very long time, yet lately people are being over zealous and deleting threads left, right & centre. People are simply asking why this is happening - this does not qualify as bitching.

I don't think a FB group contravenes the rules. FB is not, and never will be, a direct competitor of Hitched.

Some peoples behaviour is absolutely shocking.

Hitched doesnt make FB rules no, so just go and join your new group. As it is constantly said on here people make friendships beyond Hitched and if they want to continue them somewhere else so be it. Just do it without bringing the whole forum down.

I would suggest the people that have a problem with Hitched Rules, Mods etc just go and continue their friendships in a place better suited to them.

Just because we question the rules does not mean we should go elsewhere. I have been here for years. I am not about to leave just because a minority tell me to. I have made some amazing friends on here and if I wish to talk to them on here and on FB/ elsewhere, then I will.

Lauren / Stupidlamb - you'll see that Sherrie hasn't had her "say" - she just wants to get on with her life without being dragged into all this - she has a job to do and that's that - if you don't like it, apply to be a mod yourself and change the rules rather than shooting the messenger!!

The FB group got so out of hand with the bitching and back-biting - we are all supposed to be adults yet from reading the stuff on there, it felt like I was back in high school.

From what I've read on here, CB has created a new group so I'm sure you'll all be invited to that! (if you're one of the lucky ones!)

I thought that's what HG was about - a place for Hitched members to chat and share without the strict rules and a bit more privacy. Not a place instead of H but one that complimented it.

Unfortunately it seems that instead of people leaving that and making a new group, it was decreed that no-one should have a group...
