What is likely to get your blood boiling?

COCOCHIQUITA1984, 20 January, 2011 at 13:40 Posted on Off Topic Posts 0 9

I'm having a very irritable day at work today and just wondered what gets everyone else's blood boiling?

My current pet hates are:

1. Food noises - how hard is it to eat with your mouth shut, or just to be a bit quieter?

2. Bad drivers - I spend an extra half hour a day on the roads thanks to appalling drivers....if you're not confident enough or capable of being on the roads, stay indoors - I don't want to be cut up, crashed into or stuck behind you! Also if you don't like driving in the rain don't go out! The world will be a better place!

3. That blasted Ellie Golding cover of your song. Please stop playing it, it's not a patch on the original and it's starting to make my ears bleed!

4. Likewise with Michael Bublé - how has he got so famous off of all his songs sounding the same?!

5. Jordan/Katie Price and Alex Reid - really, does anyone give a monkeys whether they're married, separated or even breathing? (Perhaps a little harsh on the last comment, but at times valid!)

Come on, please reassure me I'm not the only grumpy one out there! x

People who hog seats on the Tube with bags etc. I don't mind standing, I'm a fit young thing, but sometimes people take up seats with their belongings when there are less able people standing.

One idiot this morning had an overnight bag on the seat next to him, and when a lady asked him to move it, he said he couldn't put it on the floor as the floor was wet and he didn't want the bottom of the bag to get damp. Overhearing this, I told him to have it on his lap then, and stop hogging the seat on a busy tube train.

    Idiot.

Whoever it was that used the last of the loo roll but didn't change the empty one, just started a new one and put it on the cistern!

Mainly though, people who sit in the middle lane when driving when there's a perfectly good lane just a little to the left of them. Or the oiks that keep punching my for sale sign so I will need a new one soon - it's not even been up a week yet!

Ooh and another one for me, which is one close to home, is people who tar all MPs with the same brush because of the expenses scandal and other naughty things MPs can do.

I can't say too much obviously, but I work for an MP and he is a thoroughly decent chap, and he has never taken liberties with his expenses or anything. In fact I've known him to not claim for expenses he is entitled to claim for.

Yet when I meet people, and tell them what I do, they often start ranting about how ALL MPs are a disgrace etc.

Yes there are some **** MPs but there are also some damn good ones, who do work hard and serve their voters well. The one I work for is one of the good ones. If I could bottle up his honesty and integrity, and use it to make sure all MPs had it, I would do so.

I actually go grocery shopping at 7am on a Saturday just so that I can miss all the screaming kids, the grannies who only go to the supermarket for their thousands tins of cat food and measley meals for one and to SOCIALISE with their equally elderly friends whom I am sure they see every day in their sheltered housing social club.

Why do the elderly also buy 2.0TDI engine cars and drive them like complete and utter OLD PEOPLE.... if you are going to buy a decent car then drive it as such!

And why do people expect you to hold open a door to a shop for them and then dont say thank you, that really gets my goat up...

And then they push in front of you in a queue and you politely say to them excuse me I was here first and they look at you as if you have come down from a different planet.?
