Do you ever use it? Do you like it? Mine is Michelle. TBH I have no feelings about it either way. However, I am hopeful of some corkers on this thread ?

My middle name is a controvesial subject (in our family), my mum says my first name is Kerry and my middle name is Ann. My dad insists my name is Kerry Ann (and no middle name) .

Im 25 and they still argue about it, mum says shes right as she registered my birth and dad says mum is mistaken!

Another Louise here. I never use it. It's not a family name, and my surname is double-barrelled, so adding a middle name makes the whole thing too much of a mouthful.

I'll be using my late mum's name (Ann) as a middle name for my imminent daughter.

Mine is Elizabeth. I really like it and as my last name is now the place where the queen lives, when I put all my 3 names together I sound extremely regal! ?

When I was little I liked my middle name more than my first name and was desperate to be called it.

Mine is Louise, just like half a dozen of my friends too ! I don't mind it, it works well with my first name which is Charlotte. I only use it when filling in forms or going through security checks with the bank on the phone ?

    Mine is Odell

O'Dell was my maiden name (the original spelling of it is Odell), so when we got married this is how I kept my maiden name

My middle name is Iris after my Mother and I never use it. I don't tend to tell people my middle name either.

My middle name is Jayne, so I've got two unusual spellings of common names! Always makes for fun when people ask me my name, I have to spell my first, middle and surname (getting married didn't change the need for spelling).

I like my middle name, despite it being quite a common combination, albeit with the more unusual spellings.

    Maria-Louisa

Maria because strangely all the women in both families have a version of Mary in their name and Louisa after my great grandfather Luis.

If I have a daughter I would really like to keep the Mary thing going, is that sad?
