What is your next wedding related task?

Giving notice! We do that next week and then we have to decide on the readings we want.

Force OH to do his guest list for the evening. Day list was done months ago so I am getting a tad frustrated with him. Then its off to a gig on Friday to check out our potential singer....am really looking forward to it.

I have a day off tomorrow so I'm having my honeymoon vaccinations and paying the wedding car off, OH is going to sort his suits out (finally!).

Really must get my name changed by deed poll so we can give notice next month lol.

Most of the big things are sorted....

next on list is to find vases we like for centrepieces,,

also starting to think about where we get cheesecake from

Just ordered the flowers to make bouquets myself, a petticoat and a veil. Then picking my dress up on 22nd and next month is his and groomsmens suits.

Done my guest list but trying to get OH to do his is like getting blood out of a stone. He doesnt realise that we need numbers to sort the catering. Tut tut

We're much earlier in our planning than all of you, next on our list is pay deposit to confirm our venue and we have a meeting next week at the church to see if we can have our wedding there!'

Next big thing for us is researching photographers. Not looking forward to it to be honest. All the ones I love are so expensive ?

Potential bridesmaid dresses arrive tomorrow as should my sample save the dates. Having a mare finding the ones I want!

Writing out the invites and getting them posted, I keep putting that one off as it's a tad boring.

Discuss the Blessing ceremony and decide on how the service will run, confirm the menu and hotel room bookings in April.Take up 4 BIG boxes with venue and Church decorations to Cumbria.

Pay the balance on the bowquet, button hole and cake toppers

BM dresses to be altered but the rate the girls are going for losing weight it will have to be done early July.

Er...I dunno. I get paid on Fri so maybe I'm gonna buy some vintage jewellery. I don't really have a plan yet.

Make invites...maybe, I realised I won't be sending them until after the wedding now, so could get away with leaving it til May...

Need shoes and jewellery.

We are doing several things on Mon 24th - meeting with venue to talk about menus etc, followed by pre-wedding photo shoot (arrrrgh, not looking forward to this AT ALL), followed by trip to Covent Garden to get Mr Foo's suit, then nipping to register office to hand in papers!

Make a shopping list of all the little bits and pieces we need to 'finish' the day. OH and our little boy have their suit fitting on sat, we need to pay off stuff (everything) this week, we have a pre wedding shoot tomorrow & we're going to church on sun to hear our banns being called out! That'll do for this week I think!!

Confirming details with florist and TOG and table plans with venue tonight. Hen do Friday/Saturday.

Design the cakes! Meeting with our cake lady on Saturday so we can pick flavours and how it will look. I am secretly hoping their will be more delicious cake available.

Hmm..think it would be to try and find a photographer, but no idea where to start ha.

Final, final, final meeting with venue on sat. On same day also need to go to dress maker to sort out altering pregnant bridesmaid dress to fit her bump now/in 2 weeks time.

I also need to email DJ and videographer at the weekend following venue meeting so they know exactly what's what.

Oh, and I need to panic because I still have lots more to do!!!!

Meeting florists to try and decide on bouquets/ centrepieces. Oh, and working on the guestlist, that one may go on for a while.

Choose a printer to make our invitations real - I have earmarked the Easter weekend for the addressing and licking/sponging of envelopes...

We have to decide a ceremony time and then pay the deposit to the registrar and pay the venue deposit. Eeeek this is real now?!!!

Also need to give my bridesmaids there 'will you be my bridesmaid' cards and officially ask them! Just trying to find the right time?

All this month then not much til April when we meet the priest again and no doubt run around buying more things

Making my button bouquet, button holes, centrepieces and decorations. Oh and starting on my invites... Lots of crafting!

At the weekend I picked up my low back bra from debehams and paid off wedding rings and today I've emailed the venue with some info and to try and arrange a meeting with them, plus sorted for us to go menu tasting next month :-) Next task is to go shopping at the weekend for suits, sort out our evening guest list and then onto readings/music before arranging a final meeting with registrar. There just seems to be more and more at the moment!!

6 months to go; the next few things to do are:

Hair & make up trial on Saturday

Check out the cattery we've picked and book the boy in

Write and send out the invitations

We have most sorted now so my next task is kicking my venue up the arse before i really go mad at them. Nothing fun for me for the next couple of days i don't think.

We need to pay the ceremony fees sometime in the next week or so, I'm returning a tiara tomorrow that didn't work and buying one from the wedding shop that I know does work! Also need to spray paint my jam jars and finish my hurricane vases for the table decorations, and have a hair trial to look forward to at the end of the month. Feels like it's all happening now!
