What music is everyone having?

we're having for the ceremony canon in d, michael buble everything, foo fighters everlong (acoustic) and we're thinking of having sigur ros hoppipola without the singing lol. strange choice but when we had a 4d scan for our daughter the sonographer put this song on the background and it means a lot.

Walking down the isle and out again we're having something one of our friends has written and he's playing it for us.

Signing the register was a toss up between November Rain and Bohemian Rhapsody and we chose the latter because the best man heard November rain at one of his friends funerals and it wouldn't have gone down well.

First dance is Iris by The Goo Goo Dolls leading into High by the lighthouse family

I think you should check out the lyrics for you are not alone, Obviously it is your choice but it is a sad song about someone being alone and hardship etc... I can see where the sentiment of having it as a 1st dance comes from (ie the chrous and certain references).

I am walking down the aisle to canon in d, we are having a harpist...throughout ceremony and meal, so i need to think of lots more songs!!

I am having a harpist at the tea dna coffee reception at the hotel before the dinner when we are gotting the wedding pictures done to keep the guests entertained! iv been having a wee google at pieces and there are loads of harpists on there with long repertoires so i was you-tubing for the ones i wasnt sure of!! i am going to get her to email me her full repertoire tho so i can pick from there!

I always post on these threads so I bet everyone could reel off my choices from memory now ?

we were going to leave to Pachelbel's Canon, I love that piece, but it was too short really. we ended up choosing something longer so that there was music on in the background while we had some photos done.

First dance choice is partly sentimental - the rest are just songs we like the sound of!

Signing of the register-Wild theme, an instrumental by Mark Knopfler, just have to find out if we can play it on c.d, i hope so because it's lovely. Still haven't decided on one more piece but will need one as wild theme is quite short
