What new "Chick Flicks" are out on DVD?

macca, 24 August, 2009 at 14:51 Posted on Off Topic Posts 0 3

Am having a girlie night with my lovely friend tomorrow and am in need of some recommendations please.

We are both SAHMs to two small children so neither of us have really seen anything at the cinema in the last year or two! So its very likely that anything recommended we won't have seen.

Thank you!

    Ones I would recommend are:

    Bride Wars
    27 Dresses
    Marley & Me
    PS I Love You
    Confessions of a Shopaholic

Agree with Hepburn that Confessions of a Shopaholic is a really funny film. I saw 'He's just not that in to you' on Saturday night and also thought that was excellent.

    Ooh, thanks both.

Quite fancy Bride Wars, I like Kate Hudson.

27 Dresses and Marley and Me I have actually seen, believe it or not!

Any more recs? I find that if I don't go into Blockbuster with some idea of what I want - I can lose hours of my life in there!

Good shout asking for recs Macca!! I'm so out of touch with movies (well appart from the sureal experience with the naked blue man!)

Bride Wars sounds good (big fan of kate hudson too) as does confessions of a shopaholic

I've seen ps i love you and 27 dresses (shocker!)

Oh and i was going to suggest takeout, but my mum dropped over a load of meat as she forgot to close her freezer door last night and everything defrosted.

So we can either have lemony pork meatballs with spring onion mash, or a takeaway. I really dont mind either way x
