What shall I cook tonight?

Kentish Gal, 18 August, 2013 at 10:14 Posted on Off Topic Posts 0 20

The ol' boy's on a 5-5 shift, I'm working some of the day but really cooking duty needs to fall to me. Gah.

Inspire me!

    Maybe not inspirational but we are having fajitas for dinner. We were supposed to have them last night but ended up just eating crisps at dinner time ?;

    We have slow cooked sausage casoulet in the oven at the moment. It smells so good. I am hoping there will be enough for tomorrow night as well seeing as there are 12 sausages in it!

    I cleaned out the fridge today so have chucked all the dodgy veg in the slow cook with some curry paste and tinned tomato. Smells good. Looks.... A bit gross!

    So do I!

    It has been cooking since 2.30. I have just topped it with some dry stuffing mix, sounds random but if you float it on the top and let it soak up the gravy you get a lovely crispy top.
