What shall I read now?

Laura_Lee, 20 August, 2009 at 13:43 Posted on Off Topic Posts 0 5

Hi all -

I've just finished the last novel I had in my stash at home and don't know what to read next... and I'm after your suggestions...

I like Carl Hiaasen, Jeffrey Archer, Patricia Cornwell, John Grisham (are you getting a theme here?) so any crime/thriller really... (but also partial to the odd Marian Keyes or Jodi Picoult too - just nothing too sappy) anyone read anything good lately?

Thanks in advance...

I would recommend Little Face by Sophie Hannah, and her other, The Drowning Girl by Margaret Leroy and the new book by Bateman which I can't remember the name of and also anything by Simon Kernick

I saw these books recommended on another thread on here and I loved them:

and there are another two that follow it, The Risk of Darkness and The Pure in Heart. If you like Patricia Cornwell you'll enjoy them I think.
