What should I be doing???

Hey - we have got the magnets from vista print already - we are reallt delighted with them. The only problem is that they are very small. We need to find some green card to mount them on (we think) but we can not find it anywhere!!!

We are also looking into the band, a person at my work mentioned he was in a band and that we would be happy to play - we are going to see him play soon.

How weird - I knew we were getting married on the same day but we also got engaged the same day! I'm at a fairly similar stage to you: have sorted church, venue, photographer, cars. I'm going to sort out STDs fairly soon and send them out in the next few weeks. Hopefully, our band is being sorted by the venue but I need to check that.

I'm going back home (to Guernsey - where I'm getting married) in a few weeks and I'm going to try and sort the florist and make-up lady. This is quite early but these people are quite in demand in Guernsey as there isn't many of them! I'm also keeping an eye out for biits and bobs like garden games and bits for the table as they may come up in the sales fairly soon. I'm also about to start making some bits and bobs for the wedding as I am planning on making quite a few things myself and would prefer to spread them out.

I've gone looking for a dress a few times and hoping that I'll find something fairly soon ...

I just did save the day evites from evite.com and printed a couple for the ones that i didn't have an email address for. Very useful and i got an alert to say when they were opened...

I dragged H2B to Hobbycraft the other day and we could not find a thick enough card .... I am not even sure what weight we shoudl be looking for!! I am not aware of any other craft shops locally and have tried flea bay but there was nothing on their ether!!! I am starting to get really frustrated and just want to get them done!!

If the band work out we will be really pleased - it is so hard to find a band that can play lots of different types of music. There is another guy at my work who is a DJ and we think we will ask him to either play for an hour at the start or end of the evening!!!

I also forgot to mention that we have found the florist - I have not paid the deposit yet .... I don't know why. I loved her work, her quote was competitive but some of the bits were a little expensive. The longer I leave it the more I think about it, but I really loved her ideas and work when we met and she was the only one that came to the church and venue to see how she would dress them.

I just feel a little stuck at the moment!!
