What should you be doing right now?

Gryfon, 15 July, 2008 at 15:07 Posted on Off Topic Posts 0 21

I'm rather lethargic at the moment and have loads of things I should be doing, but instead I'm drinking coffee and wasting time on the computer.

I should be wrapping presents as it's A's birthday today, hanging my washing out before it rains tonight and sorting through the stacks and stacks of washing in the conservatory.

I should be preparing for a meeting in an hour and finishing researching a company we may be doing a middle east marketing agreement with. Instead I'm hitching, and shoe shopping.

I should be working. But I'm hitching and watching Doctors (can't stop multi-tasking). If I'm not going to do any work, I should be - fixing curtains in playhouse, tidying up, washing up, doing the washing, cleaning the bathroom/toilet/kitchen, sorting out a birthday present for my sister, filling in a pension form, tidying my desk.... oh where to stop. ?

Studying, big time, but I cannot motivate myself. Still, I only need to pass every module test with at least 85% ?

Well, I'm at work so the answer should be working. However, I have nothing to do. Not a thing. And I'm totally bored. Just 30 minutes and I can go home though.

Also work - organising the summer holiday programme for my project - but have run out of steam, also writing a letter for a young person for court on Thursday. And a 2 foot high stack of paperwork!

Work, but I'm waiting on a new PC with MS Project on it, so that's my excuse!

There's other stuff I could be doing, but I'm inexplicably tired and finding it hard going at the mo. Will do better tomorrow, largely because I'm in meetings all afternoon!

Should be working, but my boss has just left the office, so screw that ?

I'm not normally a shirker, but I'm working out my notice in rather difficult conditions, which, let's say, don't make me inclined to bust a gut.

    Hoooome soooooon.

I should be emptying and refilling the dishwasher and putting the rubbish on the kitchen units in the bin whilst our tea cooks. Instead I am sat here as I have spent pretty much the whole day either ironing or driving to and from the bloody base as my H is a moron! My back is killing me and I'm feeling miserable as there is still clothes all over the bed that need ironing which needs to be done before I can go to bed tonight!!!

Now I'm supposed to be at bowling practise. But I'm too far behind with my accounts, so need to stop back and get on with it.

But what am I doing instead? I'm pissing myself laughing at the 'silly' thread and some of the pictures!

    Damn you, Hitched!!

I should really be cooking as I said I would but instead I'm lying on the bed, searching google images for appropriate pictures for hitchers.
