What time is / did everyone getting married?

mrs-roth-to-be, 28 February, 2012 at 13:36 Posted on Planning 0 50

We were originally going to have the ceremony at 2pm then have a constant rolling day, but it got suggested to move it forward an hour and allow for any mishaps that may occur, if any. Plus plenty of time to have an hr or so double checking or chilling out before the evening reception. I refused to have a morning ceremony purely for the fact im not a morning person lol and dont want to be chasin my tail constantly x

    Hi

We're getting married at 3:30pm. One of the reasons I chose this time was to allow people to get there but hopefully most of them will have come down the day before.

    Hope that helps ?

We have a lot of guests travelling also. From Sheffield and Rotherham areas where my OH is originally from so most of them should be coming up the day before if we can organise a coach for them. We have an auntie coming down from Northumberland and family travelling from near London and Weymouth. Talk about the 4 corners of England lol

We are gettin married at 1pm woop woop!

2pm for us - we were thinking around 1-2ish and then the venue said this is normally the best time for how they like to run the day so we went with that Smiley smile

11am! I was adamant of the different things I wanted to fit in, and that we would eat at proper meal times, so it ended up at 11 - I didn';t think of travelling time to the venue (45 mins) and getting ready time until it was too late - I'm gonna be up at 6!! fortunately me and my 2 female BMs are all early risers so should be OK! Gonna get a lovely continental breakfast on room service too!

Stupidly, I am staying in the City Centre hotel we are using on the wedding night for us and guests the night before, and the car is picking my up at 10am!

OH and chaps are staying in a hotel nearer the venue... but then they are going to be there about 10 or 10.15...

Ohw ell, I'm sure the adrenaline will keep me going, and got a chilled out evening planned with the BMs, I hope - early dinner, having nails done in the hotle and some telly and bed I think.

2pm for us. We're not having any separate evening guests and our meal will be around 6.30ish, but we're having a boat cruise between the ceremony and reception venues.

We are getting married at 12 noon. We would have prefered a slightly later time but this is all registrar had available and I booked 16 months ago.

1-2pm is the best time otherwise there often isn't enough time between the end of the ceremony and the wedding breakfast.

We think ours will be 2.30pm as we haev people coming from all over and would give them time to get to us easily if they are travelling that day.

We got married at 1pm. Wanted to make our day last as long as possible but still have plenty of time to get everyone ready. It still flew by in the blink of an eye!

We got married at 3.30. The same as others we had people travelling long distances and although all of them came down the day before I wanted them to have time to rest. Also meant that OH and I could get up at a decent hour have breakfast and relax a bit before all the preparation started.
