I refused to have a morning ceremony purely for the fact im not a morning person lol and dont want to be chasin my tail constantly x

1pm - no one coming from too far, and we will put on transport from a local hotel to the church and then the reception venue, so they just need to get themselves there and then we can take care of the rest. It is a fine balance between making the most of your day and making sure there's enough time for everything you want to fit in after the ceremony (we really want a drinks and canape reception before the meal) and making sure your guests don't feel too rushed.

If we were getting married all in one place then we would have gone for a later ceremony (2.30pm I'd say), as we wouldn't have had to allow for any change-of-venue-faff in between the day's events!

3pm, that was time the venue suggested and we're fine with that as it will be after the hottest time (getting married outdoors in Italy. Gives me loads of time to get pampered in the morning and drink Prosecco in the hot tub too ?

We're 2pm. Were debating between 1 and 2, but when I asked the venue, they said 2pm was perfect so we went with that

4pm for us. The venue (an Art Gallery) is open to the public during the day. Guests can start arriving from 3.30pm for welcome drinks, then ceremony at 4pm. Am totally undecided yet whether to have everyone there from 4pm, or have a smaller group for the ceremony and others arrive later, either at 6pm in time for hot buffet or at 8pm for the party!

Mine's at midday, so one of the earlier ones on this post. I wanted 1pm but OH wanted midday and as he'd compromised on other things I agreed to that. He just wants to get the 'fun bit' (his words) started earlier!

10.30am!! Do I win the prize for earliest wedding?? Seems 28th December is a busy day and that's all that was left when we booked so we had to like it or lump it. We are going to put on our invites "stamina required!" :-) x
