What type of hair accessory?

LeedsBride, 21 June, 2012 at 22:09 Posted on Planning 0 18

Hi ladies, I've only just start to think about what hairstyle and accessories I might like for my big day, and I know its a popular style, but I really like how Pippa Middleton had her hair for the royal wedding.

But I am not sure what sort of hair accessory/accessories to have - do you think I would need a clip or a comb? and would I need anything else or just the one hair accessory?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Would you have that as well as something where she has the flowers?

I really like this and its probably the first wedding hair pic i've thought was nice, i dont like the 'set' look so this is so pretty.

I reckon pearls, probably in the form of a clip at the back to hide hair slides orrr a headband with a design on the side. Accesorize do some nice ones.

Have you got you venue? Im a Leeds bride too! ?

Just out of interest are you having your BMs hair done on the day or are they doing their own? (IF your having them)

That is a tiara just to wear at the front if you want something to wear where the flowers are you would need a comb along these kind of lines

Having 2 BMs, one wants to do her own (she has a very short 'pixie' type hairstyle so doesn't need anything doing to it really), and I need to ask the other one what she would like.

How about a comb like this it would sit in the same position as pippa's and is customisable in size Smiley smile you wouldn't need anything else with it.

Hi, is there any reason why this couldn't be worn at the back? I think it is stunning. Thanks

Puddy cat not sure which you mean, but the one at the top on the model is the one that I meant should be worn at the front as it is on a tiara band. the one on the comb can be worn any where

Thank you, that's what I thought. Am shattered and not very coherent this evening! I think it would go well with the lace on my dress. I want my hair half up/down in maybe an old fashioned bustle style maybe however that may well change ?

You would get away with a tiara, side headband or a comb at the back. Would depend what style your dress is and of you are wearing a veil.

Feel free to email me a photo of you dress and I will help advise you better.
