What type/ style of shoe?

kitty130184, 7 August, 2014 at 22:08 Posted on Planning 0 5

Any advice or suggestions please!

What style of shoe e.g. lace , satin etc would go best with a lace dress?

I have tried on different ones and just can't pick! ?

I have a lace dress and have gone for a satin shoe. (rainbow club shelley). I figured no one will see my shoes and if I wanted to, I could add lacey bits later on Smiley smile

Personally I wouldn't go for lace, but as it's been said, if you've got a long dress nobody would see your shoes. I second the rainbow club shoes though (I've got thea) the break in easy and have a lot of padding in the sole

I've got a lace dress and went for Rainbow Couture Lupini which are satin with a tiny brooch on. I looked at lace but worried it would either look a bit matchy matchy or look odd if the lace was too different. I was also worried about the lace on my dress catching on any scratchy bits on shoes

I think I'd go for satin as well.

I'm considering getting coloured satin shoes, to match the sash on my dress. They would just poke through occasionally for a flash of colour.

White/off white heels (depending on the color of your wedding dress) open, with crystals or swarovski. Smiley smile

Agreed with satin suggestions. I went for glitter shoes, but I'm very aware that the shoes do catch a little on the lace of my dress so probably wouldn't recommend it.
