What underwear could I wear with this

MrsSkinner2be, 5 April, 2013 at 13:48 Posted on Planning 0 15

I really love this dress and would be very happy if this is what I end up getting. However I'd want a nice bra/corset to help push my boobies up a bit (they are a 32D/DD but I'm only a size 10 so they aren't really that big) so I want to have a tiny hint of a cleavage.

What bra/corset could I get to go under this so it doesn't show cos of the detail at the back I worry I wouldn't be able to wear anything?

Have you tried the dress on?

I was adamant I'd need a bra to contain my bosom, however, the boning structure of the dress, and a really good fit enabled me to go braless. And I think my boobs looks really good (considering what they normally look like braless...)

Absolutely no chance of any kind of bra/corset in my dress, so I had cups sewn into the front of it.

I have tried it on with a balconette bra but that didn't do much. Would need to be strapless as although the straps on the dress probably wouldn't show a white strap through it they go in diagonally at the back where they join the dress so a bra strap would show

Sorry being thick do you mean you are actually having a boob job or is this something that can be built into a dress that I don't know about??

As above. You have cups/fillets etc seen into the dress.

It's built into the dress Smiley smile --- I'm not having an actual boob job ( I considered it once and then figured that I like how my body is after many years of hating it so why change it) I did nearly put 'not an actual boob job' - badly written Smiley winking x

Does it cost a lot to have it built into the dress and are you getting the dress shop to do it?

I think they estimated around £10 because they were saying 'it's a ten pound boob job ' lol - however I'm unsure I'm lucky in that my mum is paying for it all. Yea the bridal shop I went to has a lady there who does it all Smiley smile - you should ask around it's probably no more expensive than a gd bra anyway Smiley smile x

I havent tried it, but found this on a US site. I'm sure you'd find something similar in the UK though:

Ooh I'll ask in the dress shop then thanks!

Teal thankyou for that - that is def an option if I can't get cups built in.

Another question - I've heard some brides saying they've had their dresses altered so they are a sweetheart neckline - can any dress be altered to make it sweetheart as I'd be quite keen to have that done to this dress? Even if only slightly
