What wonderful things has your H2b done for you lately?

lovelygirl, 4 February, 2011 at 12:02 Posted on Planning 0 52

My wonderful gorgeous guy took me to an aquafit class yesterday, to help me get fit and lose weight so i can fit into my dress - he was the only "GENT" there and joined in full pelt with all the ladies and did not make me feel silly or guilty for making him come with me. I couldn't have gone without him because of my ill health as we had to check whether it would set off my seizures (50% of the time i have them in the bath or shower - oh the joy!) He is going to take me another 2 more times just to check it will be ok and then i will be able to go on my own. There are not many men who would go to a "ladies" fitness class and for this i think he is wonderful

    Awww thats really nice!!

Me & My other half always train together, he even joined in and did the "Ministry of Sound- Pump it Up" Fitness DVD, which was very funny but he had sweat dripping of him!

My OH doesnt really do 'Wonderful' things, but when i felt a little low the other day he did take me to the shop and bought me a new top to cheer me up! hehe

We're always trying to save, save, save...if its not the wedding its bills & debts to pay...hopefully once we're married we can start to go out more and socialise better xxx

    That is cute.

Mine cooks most nights and does the washing up. He also cleans most weekends too. His mother did an amazing job! If only he would discover the wash basket (and use it)!

    Yup that is pretty wonderful!

Sometimes I forget how good he is and it is so much easier to gripe than praise!

Mine doesn’t make any grand gestures or anything, but I love the little things he does to make me happy. We had some friends stay at the weekend, and I always put flowers in a vase and towels on the bed when we have someone stay, and when I went upstairs to do this, it was already done - he had obviously seen me do it before so took the initiative!

Aww! that is so lovely,? I cant see my OH coming to aquafit with me!

he is good however in other respects - I have had quite a stressful few weeks with work and at one point when I couldnt take anymore he wrapped his arms around me and told me to leave, to quit if it was making me miserable. (to us that would mean an even more of a budget wedding and a complete change of future if we were only getting one income) I havent given up Im going back Monday and the driving force is our future together but just knowing he would support me what ever I chose was so lovely IYSWIM?

I wouldn't say this wasn't alot lol. Mine is doing this at the moment, he's lucky if he gets one weekend off work a month and works very long hours.

The other day mine let slip that he had been looking for Adele tickets, cos I'm desperate to see her!

Ah, that is really lovely. Gestures like that speak volumes.

H2B and I are getting fit at the moment too, as we have enjoyed too much fondue and cheesy swiss things this winter.

My other half has been picking me up from work on his scooter which reduces my commute to work from 30 mins down to ten mins, and getting very very cold in the process recently. I feel very guilty.

What wonderful things has he done recently? Well, last night, as I was cooking dinner (after earlier asking him - rather naively as it turned out - to start it off as I would be home later than him), he sat in the kitchen to play his iPod game thing (silently) rather than stay in the living room (as usual, waiting to be called for dinner, in the manner of a small dog). I asked him if this was some kind of act of solidarity. Apparently, it was, he even went so far to suggest it was a noble gesture.

Guessing that doesn't count? Oh well, you take what you can get...

My OH has been pretty amazing since I found out we're having a baby. My moods have been all over the place, and even when i'm being an evil ? (thanks hormones) he's the sweetest guy ever. He rubs my back and my feet, and put up with me moaning.

He does a full day at work, then comes home and cooks for me, and cleans up after.

When i'm feeling, and looking hidious, he gives me a squeeze and tells me how beautiful I am. This is often met with a scowl off me and me shouting "you taking the effing pi$$?" yet he just squeezes me harder and ignores my ranting ?

Sorry if I sound smug, but my H2B always does wonderful things and goes out of his way to do things for me and my children. He hasn't even got a thumb print on his head either - he does it because he wants to, not because he has to...

Hes been a good boy lately. Had a major leak at my house, got hysterical and he told me not to worry about a thing and to leave it to him. He temporarily fixed it so i have water, rang plumbers, insurers etc. I havent had to worry. Just nice to feel looked after! Then i find out hes booked a meal for v-day at the restaurant where he took me on our first ever date. Oh and hes running me a bath for after work as im off out and in a hurry hehe!

    xxx

I'm expecting something wonderful today because it's our anniversary! ? Hope I'm not disappointed!

He often buys me flowers, he helps round the house (a bit!) and nips to the shop to get me choc - I'm very lucky with him!

    *cue thumping intro music*

    *American voiceover*

"It's Triiiiiiiickers v Mooooooooey in the SMUG OFF"

    "whoop whoop"

*pan to some cheerleaders with massive boobs to ensure a male audience*

"Will Trickers triumph or Mooey move on up to that Champion Podium? Stay tuned to find out, folks!"

*cue more terrible music and an ad break*

My H2B came to the beauticians with me for a consultation to make sure the procedure wasn't gonna f*ck up my face. lol
