What would you ban?

Erin8, 30 November, 2013 at 22:59 Posted on Off Topic Posts 0 37

After an uncomfortable night under a feather duvet l wish to ban them! I am allergic to feather so it was very uncomfortable. Plus the hygiene of them -how do you wash them *retch*.

I am also going with:

cigarettes

coffee

mayo

yappy dogs

lazy shop assistant -l really don't wish to listen to your inane chatter

4x4 cars (unless you live in the country AND you can drive them)

The BNP

celery

Press 1 / press 2 etc call centre messages

    Peppers

    Raw onions

    Marzipan

    Christmas stuff in October and November

    Easter stuff in January and February

    The X Factor

    Vaguebooking

    People who are rude to helpdesk people when it's clearly not their fault.

    Blues and country music

    The SNP and the Referendum

    smoking in public places. I don't know why but I always seem to be walking past someone when they blow out the smoke and it always goes in my face/mouth. It's rank.

    No don't ban coffee, not sure what I would do without it! Or my cat. It's very frustrating when you get one using your garden as a toilet but I take no responsibility for that because mine is an indoor cat and I clean his poop every day Smiley winking

    I would ban smoking. My mum is a heavy smoker, smoked through her pregnancy which I hate her for and still smokes around the kids and in the house now. It puts me off going round her house.

    I would also ban facial tattoos, I haven't seen a single one which actually looks nice. Could be proved wrong though.

    Holey why barbecues?

    Hoddy - I hate how everything stinks of smoke, the fact that all the food isn't ready in one go, plastic cutlery that doesn't work, having to eat outside without a table. Argh I just hate them!

    I'd ban.....

    People who move to the country then moan about the church bells/smell of manure/mud on roads/tractors/how awful shooting and hunting are. And you moved here why?

    Queuejumpers in shops.

    Those ridiculous heavy eyebrows on women.

    Facial piercings. I've not seen a facial tattoo, but I can't imagine they look great.

    People who are unable to take a compliment, thereby making the compliment giver feel uncomfortable.

    Cheese. All of it. Also eggs and pasta.

    Sometimes just all other people. Well not all, but you get my drift!

    People who don't clear up after their dogs or train them. No, it's not endearing when your dog 'just wants to play' with mine. If it doesn't come when called, don't let it off the bl**dy lead. (I do understand however, that if a dog is chasing something, you can save your breath; it won't hear you!)

    And breathe.....

    I don't mind Facebook, but I'd ban all the "like if you love this puppy, scroll down if you want it to drown".

    Leggings

    Onesies

    Smoking/eating/drinking while driving

    Child beauty pageants

    Childrens tv characters that make silly noises rather than words

    - misplaced/unnecessary apostrophes;

    - deliberately cryptic or woe-is-me fb status updates;

    - instant coffee (another coffee snob)

    - people who don't say thank you when you hold the door for them;

    - people who put their shoes up on bus or train seats - disgusting.

    And I wear uggs when it's cold!

    I've only glanced at this thread... I bet I'm all over the place on this one.

    I've seen some pretty bad examples of this in the past ☹️ We reported one 'breeder' to the RSPCA and they said there was nothing they could do... I don't even know how they could say that when we told them all the evidence... I have since seen the same breeder advertising kittens and puppies and it makes me sick. People like that just get away with it. There are people like me who treat their animals like royalty and would do anything to protect any babies they had.

    I have also recently seen someone advertising a 'free to good home' pregnant cat. It's just horrible.
