What would you call this colour?

11 April, 2014 at 11:55 Posted on Planning 0 10

Hi everyone,

So I came across a colour I think I love for the bridesmaids (we don't have a one colour scheme but this is my favourite I've come across so far)... I've tried searching for dusky pink, dusky rose pink and can't find anything the same. What would you call this colour?

Thanks,

x

(First attempt at a flash, let's see if this works!) Sorry it's gone all wierd and I don't know how to change it!!

    You could try "Raspberry".

People call colours such weird names these days. Personally it looks like dusky pink to me.

The problem with colours is how they render on different screens. What looks hot pink on one screen will look subtley dusky on another. Theonly way to be sure is to see in real and natural light. It's where the internet can be a difficult place to shop. On my screen they look raspberry but the pearls look very different. I think I might have those pearls, biought of ebay, and they were described as dusky pink. They were much pinker than I expected them to be.

Try Victorian Rose or Vintage Rose.
