I would probably go for the soup, the beef (yummy to that!) and profiteroles (twice if I could!)

I'm not 100% sure what 'Home cured gravlax, celeriac and apple remoulade with honey and whiskey dressing' is but the other 2 sound lovely! Also I thought the salmon option sounded really nice but I think the beef would be the crowd-pleaser.

He he, I work next door to a Danish bar so knew what gravalax was. Hadn't thought how esoteric that knowledge might be though.

    I had to google gravalax!

Just thought, I chose the ravioli but I notice it says Parmesan which is not always veggie. I know it's only a little thing but some of your vegetarian guests might get technical, so before you offer it as the only veggie option (if you do), maybe check that the venue use a veggie Parmesan-style cheese instead.

It all sounds LUSH though - I would eat any combination of those options, but I am not a fussy eater AT ALL (apart from no 'beige buffet' items!)

I'm lactose intolerant so I'd go for:

Starter: Home cured gravlax*, celeriac and apple remoulade with honey and whiskey dressing

Main: Roast sirloin of beef with yorksire pudding, shallot marmalade & red wine jus

Dessert: Warm apple crumble tart with vanilla ice cream (but without the ice cream!)

*I have NO idea what this is, but it doesn't sound like it has dairy in it!
