I am so out of the loop with telly-watching these days. Soaps take up too much time, but apart from that I don't know what good series there are at the moment? I'm not a 24 or Lost kind of person, I did like Desperate Housewives but lost track a few series ago, I loved Mistresses although only...

I am so out of the loop with telly-watching these days. Soaps take up too much time, but apart from that I don't know what good series there are at the moment? I'm not a 24 or Lost kind of person, I did like Desperate Housewives but lost track a few series ago, I loved Mistresses although only caught the last ep of Series 2 on TV and had to buy it on DVD. I don't like police/murdery type things. I do like Hotel Babylon and that's about the only thing I really know to watch at the moment. Psychoville was soooo wrong but compelling viewing, and we've just bought Flight of the Conchords on DVD to watch.

Any recommendations for current good series wot I can V+? Oh, and I have about 20 hours of Come Dine With Me to catch up on ?

?

So glad to find another TB watcher! You'll be heartened to hear that there is a second series already made/in production as I found when I was searching for a synopsis of the episode my Sky+ decided we weren't allowed to watch ?

Me too, i want to punch that guy. He will put in the world's most expensive taps for £2500 and then tell them they can't afford a patio ?
I swear you could build and furnish an entire house for less than he spends decorating a living room. He wants to watch Grand Designs a bit, imo

I love the way George goes to some furniture shop and shows a desk and says "you can get something modern and plastic like this starting at about £1500, right up to this more traditional one at £15,000". George have you been to Ikea, Argos...? ?

More likely he would say 'you COULD get this piece of disgusting tat that will entirely ruin everything I am working to achieve in your home for you, or you could spend £10,000 and get this, it will be perfect and if you don't choose this one I am probably going to cry. Cash please' Couple hand over cash, George says, right, now you can't afford the extension for your child's bedroom, so we're putting him in the attic, he can manage a ladder ok, can't he?'

? There was one where he didn't do anything in the en suite I think it was, as in no toilet/sink/possibly plaster but gave them a fancy shed *** TV room in the garden. Why George? WHY?

I think I saw the end of that one. 'here is your en suite, it isn't quite finished' [rotfl
and you could see them thinking, 'great, we now have no money to do it ourselves, because YOU frittered it away, you monster'

Season 2 of True Blood is already being shown over here, and it's excellent! Only three episodes left, but season three has been commissioned.

(Took me a while to figure out why Jason looked familiar though!)

Another vote for Flight of the Conchords here - we've just finished watching series 2 and it's great. I also love Family Guy, I find it hilarious - it's usually on BBC3 from about 10pm.

Have You Been Watching is pretty funny too with Charlie Brooker, was on last night at 10pm.

Would I Lie To You is funnier now that Rob Brydon presents it. Love Mock the Week too - definitely a panel show theme going on here ?

Has anyone been watching the Kevin Bishop show? I caught bits of the last 2 and a couple of sketches made me chuckle but the rest of it was a bit rubbish I thought. He annoys me quite a lot too for no apparent reason!

Outnumbered was absolutely fantastic, can't wait for that to come back on! Same with the Inbetweeners - loved that too.

We watched the first episode of Being Human the other day too and I wasn't too sure about it. It's about a ghost, werewolf and vampire who live together.

One of my favourite programs ever though is Peep Show, and not just because I fancy the arse off Robert Webb! ? I just find it hilarious and so cleverly written. Series 5 was the last one on and I know they've signed for Series 6 at least, maybe 7 as well if I remember rightly.
