The shoe hunt thread has inspired me to go shoe shopping today! (not that I needed a lot of inspiration for that!)

Tidying the house to within an inch of it's life then going out while people who aren't going to buy it come and look round.

Apart from that, some washing and studying.

I'm no help whatsoever, am I?

We're off to an Easter egg hunt, then I think just general housework and mooching around. Didn't get much sleep last night so I'm too tired to do much!

? I know, sorry! I wouldn't have a clue what to do with them. Bike ride? I will do that today too probably. The husband needs some exercise ? Obviously the small child would be useless at it but can you chuck him/ her in a seat on the back of yours?

Edited to all I'll probably bake some chocolate sponge cakes tonight and decorate them with chocolate buttercream icing and mini eggs. Would they like this? I mean to do with you, I'm not offering babysitting services! ?

Extracting clips from DVDs to stick onto a DVD-R for a presentation in an American university next week.

I rashly agreed to do it for my best friend (so I don't even get a free trip out of it), only to realise that I can't count on them being able to handle the standard European video format - so I have to work out how to convert them as well. Which is probably possible, but likely to take most of the day.

    I can't ride a bike ?

Gryfon, I had an egg hunt all planned out, have the eggs all ready etc, but it's pissing down with rain here and it's rubbish having one indoors.

Gah, am in a grump because I'm tired. If my daughter would let someone else get up with her and let me have a lie in once in a while, I might be a bit bloody cheerier ?

    Thanks, peeps ?

    <patronising voice> Then today is the day to learn </patronising voice> ?

My only knowledge of children is my nieces who are 5 and 7. The younger one likes sticking things to paper, drawing and painting and making things. The other one likes winding up her Dad and the dogs ?. Can you play with the younger one and make the older one do his homework?!

We have eggs to hunt for tomorrow, the weather better improve.

We were going to a big outdoor toy place in Milton Keynes as we're thinking of getting the little people a wooden climbing frame and it has a big display/try out area. But not much fun in the rain either.

We could make crispie cake nests. Hmmm. am stuck for good ideas too.

No idea. MrSun is having a lie in, poor s0d is knackered. I might less MissSun scoot up to the park and have a ride on the swings but we did that yesterday. We might go for a drive lookingn for more non existant houses. She likes looking at showhomes, maybe we'll do that lol! We're skint so can't really do anything that costs money.

Would Wizzy sit still at the cinema? Monsters v aliens? Is there a UGC by you? They do films for £1 on a Saturday I think. I quite fancy Bedtime Stories too, it's still on here.

I'm taking my sons ice skating. They've never been before, and I haven't for 20 years. Naturally it will be as easy as Dancing on Ice and I'll have my triple salchow nailed by the end.

What I've done for my children before was to print out a sheet of 6 or 8 egg shapes and got them to colour them in, then I cut them out and put clues on the back to find the next egg shape, and at the end they got a prize of an egg ? They thought it was great fun and it kept them busy with the colouring in as well.

I need to leave the house, haven't been outside since monday. I think we are going to the garden centre (which was actually the last place I went!) I need to get some plants and know our local one has a few easter bits going on for kids,

Could you get the boy to teach you and wizzy all the dance moves to HSM? x

All my smilies are still missing, maybe you could go on a hunt for them for me

H is still in bed and I am getting ready to go out listening to David Tennant on Radio 2. I'm going out for my friend's wedding dress fitting and I'm being measured for my bridesmaid dress <sucks in stomach>, then if there's time we're looking for shoes to go with the dresses.

We've decided on silver shoes (to go with dark cornflower blue dresses) and I want something closed (round) toe, 3 inch heel (a bit like a strapless Mary Jane) - short of buying a wedding shoe and getting it dyed I'm a bit stumped. I want a grown-up shoe dammit! <stamps foot>

I won't be any help for ideas either. I have been to the hairdressers and since getting back have scoffed a lemon tart from Maison Blanc. This afternoon I need to tidy and clean the house, plus hang out the washing which is in the machine.

In terms of things to do, I second a craft activity indoors such as baking. Either than or turn dusting into a game so they do all your housework for you.

Have fun though whatever you do

Due to the filthy weather I am inspired to do nothing, but I need to go out to purchase MrP's egg he has been dropping hints for a Wispa one! We are also going to hook up with some friends for a cach up after they finish at John Lewis shopping for their imminent new arrival!

Anything to get out of doing my course work!!!

My day will consist of watching Liverpool at lunchtime (ie now ! ) then I am off to watch York play at 3pm, then will watch Stoke vs Newcastle at tea time, then off out for a meal, drinks and maybe a dance later.

I appreciate that if you don't like football then really this is no help ? How about a easter egg hunt ?

I am trying to encourage my three to sleep after taking them swimming this morning. I will then tidy my lounge (hitch) and do the washing up (hitch) before working behind a bar this evening provided I remember how to pull a pint after 8 years!?

I am also stuck for something to do later on. E is at a party from 2-4pm but don't fancy just coming home and sitting in, the weather is OK so might pop to the park, although we have done that the last 2 days so maybe not. Another option is to go into town and have a look around the shops but I don't have anything to buy, actually I need a couple of things for my hospital bag so might do that. Sorry nothing exciting.

The weather is great here today so just getting ready to walk to the country park with the dog. Later we are going out for for something to eat then off the the cinema to watch The Haunting in Conneticut.

So far today have organised our summer holiday - and taken lots of photos in preparation of selling our worldly goods on ebay to get some spending money for said hols.

Well, at 9.00am I made Mr Hole get up and I went back to bed to try and sleep, that didn't work so I left him to entertain satan in a nappy and I stayed in bed reading until 1.00 o'clock. Brilliant!

Have just had some lunch and am now going to pack for my trip to the 'stow tomorrow. I thoroughly recommend staying in bed and reading as a way of wasting time, I might even go back and do it again later on ?
