Doing a wedding fair and only had 3 hours sleep so I don't know how it will go. ?

Oh that doesnt sound good - long day ahead eh?? Hope you make it through it!!!!

Not sure yet, kind of waiting for my friend to call as her hubby and my h2b have gone out on their bikes and she said we'd get together but only had 5 hours sleep and was rough all yest from a mad Fri night out so wouldn't mind a lazy day but don't want to stay in and be bored either. Might try and go swimming an/or nip to my parents later if h2b is back at a reasonable time.

We're off up to Birmingham way as H2B is doing his Aston Martin track day today... so I'll be standing there holding his coat and having kittens at how fast he's driving probably!

Im getting crafty today on my to do list is finish the table plan, decorate the post box, re-frame my grandads painting that we are having behind the cake table and then decorate my sweetie jars. doesnt seem like it should take long, but my fingers are all stiff and covered in glue from my late night attempts last night!!

i have sinned today too as i missed church- whoopsy, but my bed was so much nicer than a 9am service!!

Today I have to re-write my cv - my last one was on my old pc, look for new jobs in london, watch the Manchester Derby at 1.30, break up my bed ready to go to the skip, some more packing/tidying and off out for a few drinkies tonight to say 'bye to everyone.

...so if you see me on here replying to too many things please give my a virtual kick up the a$$ and make me get back to work!!!

I'm in 2 minds or should I say 3 ? ) to either play "Animal Crossing : Let's Go To The City" on the wii (big child that I am ? ), reading a book called "A Man Named Dave" (the last of the trilogy of "A Boy called it") or doing some WP on the net as Jasper is sleeping on his cushion beside the windo after waking me at 9:10am on a Sunday morning....decisions, decisions!

Morning all, Im going to drag my snotty nose and OH off to wedding fayre. Going to look like a right mess though, cant wear any make up as I keep sneezing it off. I wonder what response I will get from people today.

Were out shopping today for holiday clothes then home to do the housework boring ha ha x

I SHOULD have spent the morning finishing off exhibition sample requests, and getting read for another exhibition next weekend and by now be on route to a birthday bash in Edinburgh. But I've got an ulcerated abrasion on my right eye and its seriously playing me up today. I woke up at 8am and it took me til gone nine to even be able to stand opening my eye .... I can't even sit in my lounge as its too bright even with the blinds drawn!! I've got the brightness turned right down on my laptop so can just about see what I'm typing!... Doesn't matter if I close my eye, or just try to carry on as normal, it hurts like hell and every few mins feels like a small pixie is poking my eye with a red hot poker.

So Mr SP has gone off to the bday bash but I just couldn't face standing in a pub for hours with my eye either streaming with tears or me having to stand with my eyes closed ....

So Im a bit 'pah'.

Woke up feeling crap with a stuffy nose and sore throat. Going to spend the day doing as little as possible. Should be doing the housework. Busy all week and we're having a poker night next weekend. Don't want to have to do it all in a rush next Saturday.

Today we went to register our gift list - the man in the store was so lovely and although we didn't get to pick our items - there's a lot of new lines about to come in/old ones discontinued so we are waiting a couple of weeks- I was really impressed with it all.

Then Gift List Man told us one of his colleagues was at a local wedding fair so me and OH went and I found the vintage car I wanted at an amazing price- I cried and was so taken aback by the quote that I didn't reply! Thanksfully my OH jumped in and accepted!

Got to get the whole house cleaned this afternoon - parents arrive Friday and everything needs to be spick and span!

Today I shall firstly finish watching the Manchester Derby from behind my fingers as I know we will lose.

Then I want to tidy up my craft room although I wont hold my breath on this one, then I have some samples to do and send and then need to start preparing for a wedding fair I am exhibiting at next Sunday. I have also got to fit in watching house, the accidental husband, celebrity come dine with me and waking the dead.

I sympathise, we did this (but Lamborghini/Ferrari) and it was actually THE coldest I'd ever been in my life. It was November and I was frozen and having to take pictures so no gloves!

This weekend my mum came to stay and we got her MOB outfit including a gorgeous fascinator/replacement hat. Her dress is so pretty, and we're going to put an insert of the same fabric round the bridesmaid sashes just across the front (dress is a bit low for her liking so seemed like the perfect solution).

today I had abit of a lie as next door had a party and kept me up unitl 5am!!!! ☹️ after our lie in weve been shopping and done some housework - made sure i vacumed as loudly as I could just to repay the kindness to next door lol ?

Anyway now Im watching Ugly Betty and going to make sunday dinner shortly and get ready for work boo boo!!

Have spent the day watching oh finish painting the hallway and ds has been out playing. They are now all watching WALL-E whislt sausage casserole is cooking in the slow cooker and im looking at designs for save the date cards.

I had my hair cut and coloured ready for the wedding this morning so that it can settle down a bit before the day. Also tried on my dress again so that mum could practice tying the laces up - I was so worried it'd be too tight and then end up dreading the wedding in case I felt uncomfortable on the day but it went brilliantly! So so pleased, I think I might have lost a bit of weight (non consciously) so fits even better!

I've also got my camera card reader so will hopefully be able to post some of my planning pics later once I've figured out this installation process!

We're now going to have a bbq for dinner because the weather is gorgeous!

Anyone else heard about this apparent yeti sigtining in Peterborough??

Hi I know what you mean were transferring over to new companies the week after next so its pretty dead at the moment which is fine as it gives me more time to hitched but im itching to get over to the new company now!!! I hate sundays!!

Oh no thats terrible - well obv good your in work but I can imagion how it feels I was a recruitment consultant last year and was amde redundant twice!!! Its horrid what do you want to do? (if Im not being too noisy!!)

Lol thats sooooo similar to me and OH were in Staffordshire at the moment but moving to Worcester but OH is a manager of bars/event management and there arent many of his type of jobs around at the moment, Im a benefit buster at the moment its ok but not what I want to be doing forever, I want to be self employed but it seems useless to start a business (god knows what in) in Staffordshire when were moving (evenutally) to Worcestershire - so I understand the frustration ☹️ were prob waiting unless a really good job comes up for OH until after the wedding - just feels like I cant start my career properly until we move!!! rrrrr!

Me and OH went to RSPCA Cattery today with my sister, bil and neice as they are getting 2 little kittens from them!! Completely fell in love with ALL the cats there!! Was nearly in tears reading some of their stories. So sad what some people do!

Walked into town to get measured for our wedding rings, had a nice yummy roast. And now OH is having half hour on the xbox while i do some hitching then a dvd i think!

I start my new job tomorrow, so really quite nervous about that!! Haven't worked for just over 3 months (since i lost my other job) so dreading the routine and early mornings, but glad i have a job now. Means the wedding savings will now come off hold and we can start looking at places to rent now! Yippee!!

It's my last day of maternity leave today! Back to the real world tomorrow!! Today I've just been ooober chilling out with OH, (mil2b took Hannah out) and just woken up from my nap ? lol. ohh I'm going to miss this me thinks.... xxx

I loved that trilogy! I heard years ago they were making a film of "A Child Called 'It' "...have you heard of that? I never saw it come out over here!

weve been together 5 years and lived together 1 and a bit he still does some thing that annoys me but thats the case who ever you live with!! We just cant wait to move to Worcester so we can start our lives properly lol

So I went and met the girl whos getting married the day after me......

She was telling me about the really unusual colour that shes chosen for her BMs - turns out its the same colour as mine!!!!!! Victorian Lilac. Also, there was a wedding on today at the Hotel and the BMs appeared with victorian lilac dresses - well they were a little bit more blue but almost the same colour.

Feel super prepared now M2H - feel like I'm really on a roll and everything is just slotting in nicely. I was trying to be different choosing that colour but I guess that its not really different at all....lol Typical!!!!

Aww jennie! how old is your LO now? What do you do for a living? I work in a hotel and am dreading going back to the house keeping part! All that running up and down stairs, carrying things....pah! I'm waaay too unfit nowadays lol though it would help with the weight loss lol xx

Well in the end I acheived nothing I wanted to. Craft room still in a complete mess, garden not done, no stuff organised for next weeks fair.

Instead have caught up with a weeks worth of come dine with me, watched house, updated website a little bit, made a brooch and a VW camper van bag.

Oh well tomorrow night craft room here I come.
