We are having cheese and wine tomorrow ?

My fridge is looking empty. Market & supermarket delivery tomorrow, so I could either have onion soup, carrot soup, or send Mr Spam out to get a takeaway. Shocking, I know

Trout, cous cous and roasted veg. I had Sashimi for lunch though and I'm rather full now so don't really feel like anything.

Lemon chicken and egg fried rice. Made by me, not from the takeaway or the microwave!

We're having a simple version of Nigella's loaded potatoes with roasted chicken thighs and drunksticks, coleslaw and red cabbage.

It was meant to be Prawn & Noodle Stir Fry but seeing as I managed to eat a serving of chips and some meatballs in Ikea earlier I think I am going to be having one prawn and one noodle ? oops, still they were worth it. Was YUUUUM!

We had good sausages with couscous and vegetables. The small shouty one stole my corn on the cob and ate it.

    Fish and chips and peeeeeeeeeeeeees.

Of course, H just brought me the ingredients for Margaritas so whether the FCPs get eaten or I just drown my sorrows in tequila heaven remains to be seen!

Legless - we need to meet up soon - I wanna hear about your new job and talk books. x

I was sick of being good and have gone and just bought an indian meal from the local supermarket (one of the ones they make fresh, not horrid ready meal) so am having aloo saag, rice and some kind of chicken thing - I say some kind as I bought one for me and one for H, one considerably spicier than the other (H hates spicy food), but both same colour. The person didn't label which was which, so it could be either that I'm cooking now. After, I fully intend to eat a mint chocolate cornetto and continue reading my new book.

H is out playing pool with work friends and sounds pished, so god only knows if he will eat the food I got for him when he stumbles comes in

I had fish and chips too last night with awful mushy peas - they tasted like normal peas just mashed up.

Tonight I am going to cook steak, will make a very peppery peppercorn, brandy and mushroom sauce and a nice feta cheese and pomegranite salad. Also made a large fruit salad today so will have that for breakfast, lunch and dinner for the next few days.

And just because, I have a nice bottle of Veuve chilling in the fridge and will be cracking that open at some point today. I need a nice day.
