What's your job?

Mrs_T2B, 22 October, 2010 at 19:46 Posted on Off Topic Posts 0 15

Just a nosey thread really. What is your profession? And how long have you worked doing your current job?

I am a Secondary School Secretary; I deal with Admissions, Pupil Benefits, Data Returns, Pupil Data, and various other jobs including First Aid which is probably the worst thing I do ☹️

I've worked there for two years, and still love it although it has the occasional down fall.

I'm a trainee florist! Started about 2mths ago, purely a fluke of a job find after I decided I wanted to change my career (worked in offices as PA/Sec, HR/Recruitment for over 15 years) ... contacted the florists who'd done the flowers Bloke ordered for me when I moved in with him, they said pop in for a chat to get some advice, and they offered me a job! Its not full time but its getting there, I'm absolutely loving it, and here is some of the stuff I've done so far - not bad for a total beginner! I hope to incorporate it into my stationery business in time...

Thanks Mrs_T! Have to say, it certainly is a great feeling when you look @ something and think 'I made that' - it gives me such a sense of satisfaction!

I work in a florist based in Blairgowrie, in Perthshire... and live nearby in a teeeeeeeny village!
