Lol - you must have some - dress, jewellery will fill some Smiley winking. For me, old is me lol, new is my dress, borrowed some of mum's brooches which I've borrowed from my dad, will also count as old, blue prob a little bow in my dress.

Old is my dress because it's preloved, or me because it's my second marriage lol. My new is my underwear and my garter. My borrowed is my tiara and my shoes, and my blue is both on my garter and a little bead on my necklace x

Blue - engagement ring and underwear

    New - dress

Old - tbc - probably going to sew a pendant from my favourite necklace as a child into the lining of my dress

    Borrowed - mum's pearls

You must have some stuff that fit these categories. If you have closed-toe shoes you could paint your toenails blue. Find something to borrow, jewellery or a handbag might be easy options. Or borrow a spritz of someone else's perfume?

    Good luck for Saturday!

Old - A beautiful swarovski crystal jewellery set H2B got me for Christmas

New - Take your pick! Dress, shoes, underwear but will probably nominate my dress.

    Borrowed - Veil

Blue - Probably my toe nails, was thinking garter but don't really want to wear one.

For your blue, could you tack a tiny bit of material inside your dress? Or maybe a blue hanky to dab away the tears? As someone else suggested, how about a friends perfume for your borrowed. For your old could you use old hair grips? And I'm sure you have loads of new.

Old: I bought a 1936 silver sixpence for in my shoe (1936 is the year my maternal grandparents got married) - but my boots, coat, bag and jewellery are all vintage too

    New: my dress

Borrowed: I dunno yet - I'm hoping my mum will be able to lend me an item of jewellery or something

Blue: I have my mum's blue garter but at present it won't fit over my chunky thigh (she was a size 8 when she got married!) If I don't lose enough weight to fit into it, notonthehighstreet sell a really cute little bottle of blue fabric that you can keep somewhere on your person.

New - dress or the new jewellery I am wearing

Old - Posibly my shoes (I have some vintage ones I might wear)

Blue - hoping to be underwear if I can find some I like

Borrowed - this is where I am stuck as the actual tradition states it must be borrowed from a happily married woman and must be given back after. None of my friends or close family are married...... I may have to fudge this bit lol

Ah I didn't realise this was the tradition! It's fine for me, because that's what I'd be doing anyway!
