Haha, I like the idea of using your husband as your something old!

The main thing I'm stuck on is something borrowed, will be interesting to see what others say!

My fiancé is buying me some earrings for my something new, something blue may be a garter but still not sure. my friend wants me to wear her nans wedding ring for my something old but I feel uncomfortable with this as I don't know her nan and will feel guilty wearing it as I have my own grandparents. Don't get me wrong, I'm incredibly flattered by the gesture and privileged to be asked but feel like my 'somethings' should be sentimental and meaningful to me and my family. I don't know, maybe I'm looking into it too much?? what do you guys think?

Old: I'm not sure yet, but OH is older than me...

New: Pretty much everything I'll be wearing.

Borrowed: I'll borrow a hair pin off someone.

    Blue: My knickers.

Old: I bought a 1936 silver sixpence for in my shoe (1936 is the year my maternal grandparents got married)

    New: my dress

Borrowed: I dunno yet - I'm hoping my mum will be able to lend me an item of jewellery or something

Blue: I have my mum's blue garter but at present it won't fit over my chunky thigh (she was a size 8 when she got married!) If I don't lose enough weight to fit into it, notonthehighstreet sell a really cute little bottle of blue fabric that you can keep somewhere on your person.

Borrowed: not a clue.....but again my sixpence may come to rescue as it's my mummys so i'm borrowing it

Blue: not sure as my MOH is organising it, but dress shop have covered me by making sure the ribbon to bustle my dress is blue

I have't really thought about it yet. But maybe something blue will be my nail varnish on my toe nails, or bridal underwear with some blue on it x

Princess Bride - that is a little weird, perhaps you could just explain to her as you have just done here?

One of my bridesmaids got me something similar. I was going to stick them on the shoe soles.
