We started with the colour theme of Orange and now it has turned in to a autumn wedding theme. So everything is now being decorated with leaves and everything is orange, brown, yellow etc.

Tiffany's is a theme though how fab!

    xx

We don't really have a theme, just a colour scheme which is turquoise and white. We're having a little bit of sparkle on the tables and cake. We're having places in York as our table names as that's where we went for our first holiday together and it's where we're going for our honeymoon

Our colours were black, pink and purple. Our loose "theme" was Hello Kitty.

Decided on these as I only wear those colours, and as my Hello Kitty tattoos would be on show, I had other HK aspects, which H was fine with. Just to add, H didn't wear anything to do with HK ?.

Jewellery - HK flesh plugs and necklace

    Rings

    Dress and shoes

    I then changed into these

    Hs shoes

    Cake

    Bouquet

    Ta DAAAARRRRR

We're being greedy and having three themes! After the church service we will be having a garden party (tea and cupcakes, ice cream trike, lots of games and bunting), then we will be having a dinner party (very sophisticated decor) and then in the evening we will be having the after party (glow jugglers, BBQ buffet, bean bags etc.).

Our colour scheme is turquoise and fuschia ?

    Ebony_Rose, I love your bouquet!

We're not having a theme as such, just got a colour scheme of black, white and a bit of purple

Our theme is, loosely, 50's pin-up. More realistically you could call our theme 'random' ?

Myself and my BMs will be wearing 50's style circle tea dresses - theirs are black and white polka dot with red sashes and big red petticoats. Mine is ivory with red roses (attached, not pattern) and a big red petticoat. I'm wearing a birdcage veil and we're all going burlesque with the footwear. My make-up and hair will be very 50's pin-up - smokey eyes, BRIGHT red lips. BM's also going 50's with their hair.

I'm arriving on a horse, weather permitting, but we couldn't stretch to the VW for afterwards so instead we have a beautiful Jaguar. Flowers are quite classic - mainly roses, with calla lillies for a modern twist - and in black, red and ivory.

Church service so traditional from that point of view, but we're hoping to get a local busker in to play guitar during signing of the register but not sure whether he'll play 50's tracks yet.

Wedding breakfast in a beautiful restaurant, all fairly traditional, polka dot themed stationary / menus etc, with individually packaged cup cakes as favours. Possibly some bunting strung across the front of the top table.

Evening reception is in a village hall, with homemade bunting strung everywhere! Tables decorated with candles, few sparkles and maybe a few feathers to bring some of the 50's hollywood glamour in. Got a band playing big-band music amongst other stuff.

Colour scheme red, black and white.

Our colour scheme is purple and silver - everyone knows i'm obsessed with purple and it was inevitable what we'd have! I think everyone will be shocked im not wearing a purple dress as both my mum and my future MIL were surprised when I said I wanted a traditional one Smiley laugh

Glamorous country house party for us. Our wedding is in a beautiful victorian church, our reception is being held in a country house hotel. We're having a pimms drink reception and a garden tea party for our wedding breakfast followed by a bbq and party in the evening. Our colour scheme is ivory, sage green and either lavender or pink (maybe both, i'm undecided). I wanted a vintage theme but my dress is much more modern styled than i intended so now its a glam vintage rather than shabby chic. As my sister said, its Downton abbey instead of country farm romance.

We are getting married in December next year and having a Christmas winter wedding. Me and H2B LOVE Christmas so its going to be very cosy and hopefully loads of fun.

Our colour scheme is red , ivory and silver. Our theme is Christmas Shabby Chic , more Scandanavian not vintage . So think Gingerbread Men , Gingham and hearts and buttons etc.

We are having a church wedding and then a vintage bus to take our guests to our reception which is the Crown Inn in Roecliffe. Its a lovely cosy inn which has open fires and really olde worlde. Our recpetion drinks will be here and then our recpetion will be through into a converted style medieval barn . It has beams and huge candleabras and lighting. Its really beautiful .

Going to have ivy up the huge candleabras and twinkling lights , sit down meal then hopefully santa to come and see the kids and then a buffet and live band in the evening.

We are having lots of christmas twists like cute favours , candy canes in jars and christmas games for after dinner.

Oh and we are having mulled wine on arrival Smiley smile x

We're having a traditional Asian wedding so our color theme is red and gold. We'e keeping it as simple , romantic and elegant as possible while still incorperating some cultural and family traditions and then when we
go on our honeymoon we are having a marriage blessing at a Buddhist temple. Good luck for your wedding! x

Although we are in the early stages of planning, we have the main ideas sussed-

    1) A Rainbow of colours - just like us and our life!

    2) Camping, Cornwall and the Seaside - our 3 favourite things.

The colour scheme will be rainbow, with tables named after places in cornwall, and an ice cream factory & rock & Candyfloss for our guests. Cornish chutneys & Scrumpy will be available too.

I am struggling to incorporate camping at the mo, so any ideas would be welcome - getting married on a campsite is ruled out unfortunately!

Aww Sparkles, that sounds fantastic! We went on holiday to Cornwall last year and we adored the place, loved the camping and the seaside too. It was honestly one of the best family holidays we have ever had and the cheapest too!! Great theme ?

I'll try to think of ways to incorporate camping into your day but for now all I can come up with are camping chairs, tables and campfires or stoves outside if the weather is nice (and a safe distance from any kids). The table cloths or chair covers could be made to look a bit canvas like. Have a look on the Soulpad website, we have one of their tents and they rock. The cake could be made to look like a tent on the beach. Something with guy ropes and mini bunting on the centrepieces.....

We are saving for a bell tent - my friend got hers from soul pad!!!!

We go to Cornwall every summer, we camp near lands end. H2B proposed at Sennen Cove. I would get married at the restaurant he proposed in if money was no object - but at £27,000 for the hire and buffet for 100 I cant manage it! lol

We called our wedding DIY geeklovefest on the band booking form....

It's a mish mash of all sorts of things that we like. I'm wearing a green circle dress with 2 male bridesmaids bridesdudes and a conventional bridesmaid. All the men are going to be in their own dark suits with white shirts and multicoloured ties.

We're fortunate that there are 3 rooms so everything will look slightly different depending on the room you're in. Th ceremony room will have tissue pom poms on the pew ends with a vintage table cloth on the registrar table. Wedding breakfast room will have vegetable plants in steel buckets as centrepieces (we are known for our allotment) with wooden log slices as place names/keyring favours. The bar room is a library so newspaper roses and newspaper-chains.

Our colours are crimson, yellow, navy blue, pastel pink, red, orange and baby blue.

Our theme is very loosely 'America'. We got engaged on a road trip through Nevada and California so the tables are named after the main places we visited. The bridesmaids are in Royal Blue with red sashes. The wedding car is American and my dress is 1950's America inspired.

Ooooo writing about it makes me so excited! X
