when do bridal shops have sales?? and shop recommendations in kent

I'm getting married this year and got my dress from Bridal Wardrobe in Rochester. Can't recommend them enough, they are lovely, helpful but will also be truthful so if something doesn't look right they'll tell you rather than just let you spend money willy nilly!

I was so impressed that I've actually ordered my 2 bridesmaid dresses from the Gravesend branch and went back to Rochester yestaerday to sort out the mens suit hire so they've basically done the lot for me!

Aha my specialist subject! the bridal shops of north kent....

ok - bridal wardrobe in rochester is good, ladies in there were very helpful. the shop in rochester is big and has a good variety of dresses. the one in gravesend is very small, but the ladies in there are helpful too. they had the most wonderful FG dress in the window, but was a bit out of my budget.

kiss the bride in rochester is also good - again the ladies in there are very helpful. i really wanted to find my dress in here as the shop is lovely, and they were great. totally entertained me with tiara/veils etc.

go bridal in tunbridge wells is lovely, woman in there was helpful when we were trying, and encouraged me to go for lots of different styles. she did show me some which were a bit out of my price range, which was a bit frustrating. their sister shop pantiles bride is a bit different - they were snooty, quite unhelpful and a bit keen to get me out the shop. they were totally fawning over another bride at the same time, and made me feel a bit inferior to be honest. i've heard similar reviews about it.

i can't say i've been to any in maidstone, but hear good things about bridal gowns at jodi. i've also been to a few in bromley too (none of which i particularly loved).

i don't know much about when they have their sales, but ask about them selling their samples for less.

Hi, can't help with any bridal shops in your area as I live in Scotland. I had a fitting the other day and noticed that my dress shop had a sale on, loads of dresses reduced, so I guess it really depends on the individual shop, although I seem to remember a lot of sales being advertised last year around september time.

I got my dress from Brocades Bridal in Sittingbourne but they were fantastic and very patient!! the girls are so helpful i went back a few months later and ordered my bridesmaids dresses from them not sure when there sales are on but it might be worth a look as they are very reasonably priced anyway.
