When should you order the bridesmaid dresses?

Kk86, 2 June, 2013 at 16:14 Posted on Planning 0 3

Hi,

i was just wanting to ask when is a good time to order bridesmaid dresses? I'm thinking of ordering them online from somewhere like jj house.

I am not getting married until September, 2014. Would it be too soon do you think to order them a year in advance? (I.e., this coming September)? The guide I'm using recommends sorting them out 6 months before but my bridesmaids live in other parts of the UK and I think it's probably wiser to get them sooner rather than later?

thanks Smiley smile

Absolutely,I will browse the sites for searching fantastic dress ahead of time,or at anytime, but I only will book one about 2 months ahead of time.

Then the size will fit me well...

At the same time,it will avoid the condition that I may change my idea after I get the dress one year earlier.

Besides, the fashionable elements are always changing..you know..and we all want the best and stylish ones..

I have bought two Dessy ones from a local bridal shop and I have been told they take up to 6 months to arrive and our wedding is in December (bought them in April). I was suprised they take so long! So i would say a year or more is fine, especially if you need alterations etc!
