When to have beauty treatments?

Hi, i get married on a sat and I'm going to get my nails done on the thurs, along with last sun bed, eyelashes permed and tinted and eye brows waxed. I would imagine you need a few days before the wedding to get waxed to make sure any redness goes down.

I've had a spray tan and i would suggest 3 days before, have it done in the evening and sleep on it. then it will wash off in the morning, mine was still washing off the next day too!!

Well I asked my BM this very question earlier today because she used to be a beauty therapy student and I thought she'd know.

I also am a Saturday bride and have taken the Thurs and Fri off work, so she recomended, get waxed the thursday, but also the month before (as i dont do this regularly already) The eyebrows on the thursday and she will neaten me up again on the friday night, Nails on the friday to save any getting broken which they shouldnt as they are gel, but anyway, also lash inserts on the thursday so that if any are coming loose they can be sorted the friday when i am in getting my nails done.

I am terrified. I hate to say this but I have never been waxed and am overweight and am TERRIFIED not of the pain but of goin in half clad and with my pubes out!!! lol eeek such a prude!

I would do the highlights a week before, eyebrows, waxing and nails 2 days before, spray tan the day before. You need to leave 24 hours after the waxing/threading for your skin to calm down before the spray tan.

Thanks girls! So if i get the waxing etc done on the tuesday and tan on the wednesday I should be ok for my friday wedding?

Id say so twists. im having leg wax, pedicure, gels, eyebrow wax done tomoz for my sunday wedding. eyelashes on the day by the makeup artist. im still undecided about a tan,if i get it ill get it done on the fri but ive found in the past there is normally one small imperfection somewhere and i dont know if i want to risk it when theres so much focus on my hands etc... i just dont know what to do.

I know what you mean about the tanning em. I'm still considering doing an intensive sunbed course over the next 4 weeks!
