When to send invitations?

I think that the timescale you are talking about is fine, especially give you have already sent save the dates out.

A lot of people send invitations out earlier these days for a variety of reason but i think you are still giving guests sufficient time.

I think mid Jan should be fine, and you don't want them getting lost in the inevitable xmas post delays anyway. Just so long as you have allowed enough time for rsvp's and to chase those who don't get back to you in time before you need to give final numbers to your venue. My venue require final numbers 8 weeks before which i think is quite early but I'll have to make sure i send them out in time to achieve this. If you only need final numbers 2 weeks before then you have extra time to play with IYSWIM

We are getting married 21st april and we have just sent ours out in this last week with a rsvp of february as we did't want to get mixed with xmas and to give us time to chace any up before giving final numbers at hotel in march

You should probably start to address your wedding invitations three months before the wedding.Ideally, wedding invitations are sent 8 weeks before the wedding – allowing guests several weeks to make travel arrangements and arrange time off from work if necessary, before sending them back to you.

If i get married,i will send the invitations 3-4 months before the wedding .
