When to start making Invites?

Personally I think you're a bit early, what if details change or you have different ideas? I'm just about to start looking at what I want to do for my invites as I want to send them out in Sept/Oct, I think I'm giving myself about the right amount of time. I looked into invites 6 months ago and have actually changed my mind from what I thought I wanted back then.

Nothing wrong with being organised, just be careful you don't end up having to do them all again is what I'm saying!

This is a difficult question to answer as it depends on how intricate the design is and also how much spare time you have (eg if you only have couple of hours a week you need to start earlier than if you are going to devote whole weekends to it)

It is a good point regarding to making sure all the information is fixed as you don't want to have to redo things.

Hi I have my invitations now for my December wedding, the only thing I think you need to remember is to buy extras, for mistakes/extra guest etc. It will be fine to make them, as long as your times are definately confirmed, just dont write the names on them until nearer the time!

We (I) made ours in December and sent them out in January as I changed my mind so many times ?

Our invites are being sent out tomorrow for the end of June. By all means be organised with your design but maybe a bit too early for printing! xx
