When to stop

Johners, 29 November, 2010 at 00:23 Posted on Beauty & Wellbeing 0 2

So I have been dieting and have managed to loss 43lbs, which I am thrilled about. My original goal was to loss three stone which I have managed now, but am considering whether to stop or continue. My BMI is now 29, so I'm only over weight now, I was very obese before, but do I stop or continue. How do you decide?

I think you set yourself mini goals throughout and keep re-adjusting them until you reach your ultimate goal. So it doesn't feel like an impossible task. Most people diet until they have have reached their 'healthy' BMI. This would be a sensible goal to set IMO. Well done for loosing 43lbs so far. That's an amazing amount of weight loss.

Well done for losing that weight... regards to how much to loss it all depends on what you feel comfortable being.

I know a couple of people who have lost weight and it went all out of their face and they actually looked ill... I think that you would know when you are at your "happy" weight.

I think that you have done amazing to get this far...but keep going.

A BMI of 29 is overweight, and although it's a big improvement on where you were, the benefits for your health over the long term in your life are worth aiming for ideal for. Anything under BMI of 25 is ideal - but 22 is the best.

    Go on...you can do it!
