Where are you honeymooning?

I have just booked our honeymoon for next September, we are going to Vegas, Hawaii and LA for 2 and half weeks. My other half doesn't like the beach and gets bored very easily, he didn't fancy Hawaii, but I have alwas wanted to go so I got my way if he could get his and go to vegas. I think I am more excited about the honeymoon then the wedding lol.

We're going to Mexico I can't wait!!! We're staying in the platinum Yucatan princess 5* adults only all inclusive. I have upgraded the flights for my OH as a surprise as he doesn't enjoy flying so is dreading the flight!

Think im a little bit more excited about the honeymoon than I am the wedding lol

Flying into Venice for 3 nights, then down to Sorrento for 7 nights and a bit of R & R, then to Rome for the last 3 nights. My daughter turns 21 on the day we go to Rome, so I have secretly booked for her and my son to fly out and join us for her birthday and the last 3 days of our trip.

I cannot wait!!!!

We went to Mauritius for 2 weeks. It was gorgeous and Mauritian people are just so friendly!

We are going for 10 days/ 2 weeks, we haven;t decided yet, but we are going to Vegas and Miami, but we might change Miami for some where else, one of our friends recommended somewhere that sounds right up our street but, but I cannot for the life of me remember where.

I drove myself crazy researching for our honeymoon! Went round the world & back again. We wanted luxury, beach, relax, doing nothing kind of honeymoon. We decided on Mauritius, first 2 weeks of september.

I think you should narrow down what you want. Relaxing in the caribbean or sightseeing/travelling x

Our favourites at the moment are either Italy or a Canada / New York honeymoon. They're just so different, we can't figure out what we'd prefer to do. Beach holidays are lovely, but i find i get bored after a day or 2 of that. I like a bit of adventure!

We're going to South Africa in January, 5 nights in Cape Town and then 5 nights on Safari. Can't wait!

We went to santorini which was amazing but just wanted to say if you wanted Caribbean we went to cuba at the beginning of the year. We had 4 days in havana (sight seeing etc) and 10 days at a beach resort (relaxing). It might be a good compromise for you?

Some fantastic sounding breaks there ladies! I'd been looking at Mauritius today, looks very very lush! We hadn't considered Cuba at all, so that might be worth a look! We have def narrowed it down to safari-beach break or just exotic lazing about so that's much better than the endless ideas we were tossing about! It's the same problem we have whenever we're holiday hunting, I have a love hate relationship with it, it's the trying to find somewhere suitable and wheelchair accessible that causes the extra crazy...keep the ideas coming tho people! I like seeing where everyone's off too!!

It took us forever to pick our honeymoon destination. In the end we went to Bonaire (small island in Caribbean) and we absolutely loved it! The island itself may not be very pretty, as it's quite dry, but if you like snorkelling or diving, this is one of the best places you can find. Also, it's not overloaded with tourists which we really liked and on few occasions we had a whole beach to ourselves

Japan OR Vancouver, still haven't decided yet.

Saving up and going a few months after wedding though, can't wait!

Ha ha! I must be the only one going snowboarding for my honeymoon! Lol.

we are off to the Alps and staying in a 5* luxury catered chalet with private jacuzzi etc.

we're more action / adventure people than sun & sand. I can't wait! I hope you enjoy whatever you choose! It's a hard choice with so many amazing honeymoon destinations.

We're going to Italy for 10 days next June, stopping over in Rome, Sorrento, Venice and finally Milan. Can't wait!!!

Japan. But we'll be so skint after the wedding that we will probs go for our 1st anniversary.

This has been a hard decision for us as I'm cabin crew and have been to a lot of honeymoon destinations. We want to go somewhere neither of us have been so we are looking at either Mauritius or the Maldives. We've only got a 5k budget so I think Mauritius is more likely. I can't wait!!

We went to Sri Lanka in September. Loved it!

Japan is amazing! You're gonna love it! It's worth waiting for, especially as it's quite expensive over there!

We are going to Bali and Lombok 3 different places in 16 days - doing 4 days in Ubud - cultural capital and jungle/paddy fields, fly to Lombok for diving and beach break then back to Bali in the North for volcanoes and black beaches - place in the north is a 50 minute massage each day! We wanted a combo of relaxation but doing stuff so found it to be a good balance plus we love trying new foods and Indonesia is very good value for money for a 5* hotel.

Ive still got a while before i need to book mine but have no idea were to go. my OH has been to far away places like Cuba, Jamaica and Mexico and i havent. i'd love to go somewhere like but he isnt keen. might go somewhere short haul.

It is tough! It's the only bit of wedding planning that's made me go argh! First world problem eh?! I think another part of it is OH especially doesn't realise just how expensive holidays can be. I know they don't have to be, and obviously I know you book what you can afford etc, but I think he/we have been expecting to find something incredible for far less than incredible sometimes costs!! Climoo, a luxury chalet sounds amazing!

We are going to Italy for 14 days - Livorno, Ravenna, Rome, and the Amalfi coast. we can't wait! we've been to Italy twice before, but not to the cities we are visiting this time. We considered Cuba or Vietnam, but in the end wanted to go somewhere we know we love.

We got engaged whilst on holiday in Vietnam I'm going back for bridesmaid hen do/dress making in April. It's a amazing place but can be crazy at the same time.

We are going to Mexico a few weeks end of April the heading to New York and Florida in November.

We're gonna do 3 nights in Las Vegas, 7 nights in Hawaii and 3 nights in New York. Neither of us would enjoy 2 weeks sat on a beach, but we do want the "typical honeymoon", so we thought this way we won't get bored.

We're going to do a Thailand multi-centre. Neither of us have been to Asia so that was the first place we looked. I adore Thai food so can't wait to be an absolute piggy!

We did a week in Borneo and 2 weeks in Vietnam plus a layover in Singapore too.

We're doing a week in Sri Lanka and a week in the Maldives, cannot wait!

Oh jealous twoducks!! The Maldives has been my dream holiday destination since childhood! That'll be beautiful!!

We're going to Bali and staying at three different hotels across the island. I'm think I'm definitely more excited about the holiday than the wedding day! Can't wait!!!

At the mo ours is in the UK. But, if we do get lucky then we like the idea of Iceland :-)

Ours is a cruise to the Canary Islands from Southampton.

Our decision was easy as this was booked before the wedding! We had this booked and then decided to get married, so tied it all in together, booked the wedding around the holiday and turned it into our honeymoon!

We love cruises and it's always special for us, so suits us to a t!
