Where can I find a flower corsage in pink to add to my wedding dress at the hip

ElegantBelle, 8 February, 2009 at 15:09 Posted on Planning 0 7

I have a vision in my mind of how I want my dress and I need to find a corsage or whatever they call it to put on the hip, like a large spray of flowers dangling down, my dress hitches up at the hip and this is where I'd like a pink and ivory corsage to go, but I'm having trouble finding any online or anywhere, does anyone know where I could get one or does anyone make them???

I'm working with a textiles designer at the moment who makes lovely flowers and hand dyes the fabrics for her own dress collection. I've got some pictures of her work which I can share with you if you drop me a line at ****@*********.**.** and then if you are interested I can give you her contact details and see what she can do for you.

    Hope that helps

I make lots of large corsages for hats and bags, so if you ave something specific in mind, I could quite possibly create what you want. Please feel free to contact me.

Try Debenhams, I bought this one but there is also a light pink one which might be slightly smaller?

I'm doing exactly the same - but my seamstress is making something for me - don't know where you got your dress from but if it's a bridal dress could your seamstress do the same?

I wouldn't advise using the type of flowers we use in bouquets as they will be too heavy & drag the fabric. I can make you something using organza flowers which are featherlight.

Have a look in places like Monsoon, Accesorize, John Lewis, Debenhams etc as they usually have a wide selection.
