where can we go on holiday???

teeheeyoucrazyguys!, 20 July, 2008 at 13:41 Posted on Planning 0 6

We are needing a holiday and we have the opportunity in 2 weeks time. We want a self catering villa with pool somewhere which doesnt cost more than a grand to stay and if flights were included that would be fab too. However, we dont know which country to go to and we are running out of websites to look at.

so if you can suggest a) a country and/or b) a holiday website I'd be ever so grateful and would bring you back a prezzieeee!! Smiley smile

xx

I know it's not that far but have you thought about northern spain on france ( away from the coast) ? idf you just literally type in villas in france or spain, you will get loads come up - and some of the independant ones are rediculously cheap for this time of year. Good luck x

What about somewhere like isles of scilly off of cornwall? They are gorgeous and nowhere is far from the beach. I know it isn't abroad but it feels like it when you are there. Not sure if there is enough for 2 weeks though.

Do you need a self catering villa? Bulgaria is lovely, and still quite cheap, as is Palma, just off of gran canaria x

Has to be abroad or he wont feel as if hes been away....we prefer self catering villas with a gorgeous view and little to do, as opposed to touristy destinations with lots of people and being constantly on the move....

2 years ago we went to paxos which was lovely but a little toooo quiet for my liking at the time, but there was a pool which was ours and he loved that. Neither of us are strong swimmers and have never swam in the sea so beaches are just for sitting on. Saying that, I'm allergic to the sun and hes a red head so we aint sun worshippers either!

Think its the Pisces and cancerian that we are; we need water!

Problem is, the schools are coming off in england this week (as opposed to us 4 weeks ago!) so many of the places we are looking at are booked throughout august. Also, many of them are priced per person which just goes into silly money..... *sigh* we cant even decide what we're doing for the honeymoon - not looking forward to deciding that one!

Try: thomson, lastminute.com, cheapflights.co.uk, skyscanner.net (only flights but you can find the best deals)

We spend a lot of time in S Spain as my family are there and always really enjoy it - very hot at the moment too (my mum is moaning about it!). I really want to go to Egypt and there are some quite good deals to there on the Thomson website...

He's burning himself out commuting to glasgow everyday for work and I'm needing something to take the edge off unemployment/depression..

    Hi there,

There are a lots of places that would probably going to like regarding your wedding. But let me firstly speak about myself and my wedding, Paxos is a dream island, with fantastic small churches for the ceremony, like in Loggos. Also, there are many people, warm people that will bring the best services, no matter what, they will be next to you.

Also, we went to Antipaxos for the sunset.....

    Regards

    Grigoris
