Where can you actually marry on the beach?

sineadw, 9 April, 2011 at 19:57 Posted on Honeymoons & Getting Married Abroad 0 3

Hi all, im normally over on bt but just wanted to ask advice for a friend if you can help please?

My friend wanted to get married in cyprus but has found out you have to marry in a church or town hall there then can have a ceremony on a beach for the guests. She wants to know is there anywhere within about a 4/5hr flight where its actually legal to have the service and ceremony on a beach location?

TIA ?

A friend of mine just did Australia, at the beach, a "ring and sand" ceremony (no idea what that is). They did the honeymoon right there.
