Where could you wear a Tiara again?

SarinaCain, 7 April, 2011 at 19:43 Posted on Planning 0 21

Okay so our wedding is over....and as much as I loved the dress and the flowers etc.....I love my Tiara the most.

When would I ever be able to wear it again?

Any ideas?

Welcome back! I am afraid I have no suggestions... if it is a side tiara, they are very now and I have seen loads of girlies wearing them... so perhaps you could get away with it.

Have you done a wedding report? I must have missed it!

If it's a side tiara then I'd say you could def wear it again - especially if it's diamante rather than pearls - to a Christmas do or as a wedding guest. Just depends what you team it with as to whether its weddingy or not.

Its a normal tiara...I did want a side one but wouldnt have worked with my hair.

I havnt posted the report yet. Im waiting for the official pics.

But I started writing it...its 3 pages long and I hadnt even got to the wedding day yet ...serious editing is needed! lol

If any royals need an escort to the upcoming wedding I have a lovely out fit and tiara I could wear :p

I agree! If you dont have one coming up then arrange a girls night. Get them round in their BM dresses, pop your tiara on and have nibbles and champs

I've worn mine for a black tie ball at my work and will wear it for my OHs balls at work too.

Other than that, rock it anytime in the summer - with a pretty summer dress.

Actually I did wear mine from my first wedding at a Fancy Dress thing at work. The Theme was The Legends of Olympus and we had to be Greek Gods / Goddesses. Please forgive my weight (this was 2002 and I was at my heaviest) - also the hair is a wig that came with the dress:

I was Athena though initially they wanted me to be true to my name and be Artemis (who was Diana in Roman mythology) but I thought I was too big for a short toga and a bow like the Huntress Goddess!! LOL

Plus its kinda hard to grow about 15 boobs which is how artemis was usually portrayed in statues/ artwork etc.

How about using it like a headband to keep your hair off your face when doing your make up?!

    Practical use!

I have only ever worn a tiara once and that was to a themed New Years eve party were the ladies had to wear tiaras.

    Maybe that is one idea?

Doing the shopping and washing up? Bet it would really add a touch of glamour to boring chores and cheer everyone in Tesco up ?
