Where did you get your guest book?

Spangler, 25 August, 2010 at 20:08 Posted on Planning 0 21

I still haven't got mine and I'm far too late to order a pretty one. I did want a polaroid one (too exspensive)/ PrettyWild designed one (she is amaaayzing) but I completely forgot to flipping order it!!

So can you please recommend where you got your guest book from? I quite fancy a plain one then I will just stick a ribbon on it. I don't like flowery ones.

    Hiya

I can still make one up for you if you let me know what you would like me to?

I dont have any samples on my site but I'd be more than happy to help. Mulberry or plain.

If you would like me to see what I can do then send me a quick email and I'll help as much as I can.

    Nat

I brought mine in Past times, ivory with embossed ivory flowers (slightly vintage). Is quite a big one, has bit on spine to add your theme colour ribbon. Cost me £18.

However, if you fancy a cheaper option (i brought one and took it back) Hobbycraft have some lovely satin covered guest books in sale for £4.50. You can easily decorate it yourself. You They are smaller than past times one.

In addition to lovely food ( I find a desert always helps chicken pie often works with my OH) i find having a thing they want as a bargin tool always helps so I really love this but I can't get it because you didn't get XXXX that you really liked so it wouln't be fair, followed up by unless we were naughty and treated ourselves like a present to each other. An example of this was He got a new lense for his camera and I got a kitten!

I'm not sure a pasta necklace would be a good bargaining tool (I'm vay poor) although I could do the food..

Do you not cook them before you decorate them with sprinkles? Maybe I could make pasta shell cufflinks too.

www.instantforever.com sells the Polaroid and Fuji Instant guest books. We looked into this but it would have worked out to £250 which I just can't justify. I think your best bet is to buy a guest book, double sided sticky tape and a camera separately - heaps cheaper although the film is still pricey.

Hehehee that made me chuckle out loud Drifty. That's probably as sad as me having Disney pocket tissues - actually no... nothing is as sad as a grown woman with princess tissues.

I bought this one from John Lewis for £18

I was like you in that I liked the idea of a poloriad album. Instead I made a list of the names of my guests and put photo corners on each page for each couple/family. I then gave a list of names to each bridesmaid & bestman to get portrait photos done of each of the guests that I intend to put next to their comments. Almost everyone was able to write in the right place!!
