As I am not one for clubbing any more we went to Stratford-Upon-Avon. We had a cream tea, river cruise, drinks quizzes and games in a private section of a wine bar followed by limo bus with music, bubbly and pole ?. We finished at a lovely boutique hotel and restaurant in Warwick for dinner with extra guests attending who couldn't make the daytime activities. I had a lovely day and all within taxi distance of my nice comfy bed at home!

    I had three.

The first was organised by my CBm, we went to Bristol and did "it's a knockout" we en went out for dinner and onto a club.

E second was at home, this was for chums a couldn't afford a weekend away. We did cocktails and a club. This was by far the messiest.

The third was organised as a surprise by some very lovely hitchers, we did dinner a d clubs and I had l plates and everything.

My bridesmaids arranged everything and it was a complete surprise. My only requirement was that I didn't have to get on a plane as I travel such alot with work. They hired an amazing party-style house about an hour away. We went clay pigeon shooting which was so much fun and then had someone round to the house to do mani/pedis. Apart from that we just stayed in drinking, eating and catching up which I impagine kept the cost down as everyone just bought a few bottles of bubbles or wine with them. For dinner the girls ordered buffet catering from Waitrose so no one had to cook.

It was such a lovely, relaxing weekend and we had such a laugh. And we got through a pretty impressive amount of booze.

Me and 3 friends are going to Paris for a weekend break, bit of swimming, sight seeing, eating and drinking. Just an easy relaxing girly weekend. The following weekend whilst the boys are away on the stag I'll arrange a meal for everyone else at a local pub or resturant.

I'm going to Galway Races on Ladies Day! So excited. It's a great way to include OH's (female) family in Ireland too, especially if they can't make the wedding. For the ones that aren't going (I have three pregnant friends so they'll have a babe in arms by then, both mums and a few cousins) we're going to London for an afternoon tea and a natter. I guess that could also be called a wedding shower (?). I'm not one for clubbing or the 'L' plate thing really so I'm happy with this. All being organised by my bridesmaid.

I went to Birmingham on the weeked just gone. We hired several apartments. There was 16 of us on Friday night and we just went out to dinner and clubbing. 9 more people came on Saturday day and we learned the dance to Michael Jackson's Thriller, dressed as zombies - was loads of fun! On saturday evening, we all dressed up as animals (I was a zebra!), went to dinner and clubbing again. I was worn out and my face needed a serious break from all the face paint! x

Meal out with 6 friends, followed by Dirty Dancing musical. Then met up with more friends from work and went on to a cheesy 80s bar for cocktails and dancing.

Awww my CB says a big NO to its a knock out, valid reasons though

    a) I fell over whilst walking down a hill because I was too busy looking at the view, got whisked off in an ambulance with a huge foot and couldn't walk properuy for weeks

    b) Fell up the stairs and broke my foot in several places 4wks before going on a boarding holiday which I obviously couldn't go on

    c) just this weekend I managed to sprain the same ankle twice in 24hrs and it is now fat and blue

In short, I'm far too clumsy and she's even worrying about taking me out full stop before the wedding for the fear I will do myself damage!

Perhaps we'll have to hire a narrow boat or something!

We stayed in the Arc Apartments (although they appear to have re-branded themselves to "Stay City"). They have all different-sized apartments and are really modern with kitchenettes etc. It was perfect for us for pre-drinking and having everyone round beforehand to play silly games.

In addition to that, they are right above the Arcadian which is a series of bars and restaurants, and is a 5-10 minute walk from the station and Bullring. Perfect! I've stayed there before and would definitely stay there again.

I'm going to Leeds on Saturday, (excited!) we have reserved a big enough area for everyone to meet and have lunch in the daytime (thanks to Kharv for the recommendation), then get ready at the hotel before going to a cabaret show. We have passes for the night club afterwards but it doesnt look my scene and so I have managed to get us free entry into another bar down the road. I'm really looking forward to it due to the mix if people that are going to be there and that I haven't seen (from living in different areas of the country) for a while. My Mum and mother in law as well as step mother in law are coming and although some people dont like this, I think seeing my mum get sloshed and have fun is a great laugh!

It was fabulous, we were lucky that it was a nice sunny day, can't imagine I would have been quite so happy if it was cold! It was fabulous though, I'm vet competitive so it really appealed to me.

Am I the only person to have three?!

What I want - a murder mystery dinner so we can dress up. I want one with an actor to lead it but we get parts to. I also want it in Surrey. Haven't found anything yet. ☹️

Second choice - arty crafty activity, drinks and dancing.

My sister is cbm so I think she is planning to organise it so I'll have to wait and see what I get.

There's 15 of us heading off to Cardiff for 2 nights. The first night we're going for dinner and cocktails and the second night is fancy dress...cops and robbers (me the cop and my hens the robbers) which I think is going to get quite messy!! It's getting closer and closer and I can't wait ?

Mine's tomorrow night, 21 of us are going to a local hotel for a party night which is a meal disco and Take That tribute. Was supposed to be going to Liverpool last weekend but decided not to go mainly for financial reasons but to be honest it was also getting to be a bit of a hassle arranging it. This was just so much simpler and it meant more people were able to attend.

We went to Liverpool last weekend there were 12 of us and we stayed here.... http://www.signatureliving.co.uk/

My mum arranged it all for me and we had mexican out on the Friday and then a pyjama party with karaoke and games back at the apartment.

Then the Saturday we did some shopping, lunch and then we got ready and had a hummer limo drive us around while drinking champers then drop us off at PanAm restaurant for dinner. We then went to a club after.

My mum did good it was a fab weekend!

I'm from Norfolk (but live in London) so am going to take all the city types up to the countryside for the weekend and have my hen do in Norwich. This way my mum and aunties etc can also come.

We'll stay overnight and go for cocktails, dinner and to a club.

Nope, I'm having 3 as well! I've been persuaded to go to Magaluf for 3 nights, there's 9 of us. It's to celebrate my 40th as well. I'll be having a big local hen night/40th celebration close to my birthday. We'll be booking one of those tribute nights at a hotel. We did that for my SIL's hen night & it was such a laugh. It's suitable for everyone too so Mums/Aunties/Nans can go too. Then I'm going to Nottingham for 1 night to meet up with some friends that live all over the UK. We'll go for a nice meal & then maybe a bar or two afterwards :o)

There's 9 of us (was meant to be 12 until it came to money!!) going to Manchester for the weekend. We have an activity on the Saturday but don't know what it is, BM has organised the activity. My other BM is only just 14 so can't come so I'm just gonna have a meal at the pub one night so she can be involved! Smiley smile

I went to Marbella for a weekend with close friends and family and then 7 of us stayed for the whole week and then had a night out at home with work friends and other friends that couldn't make it to Marbs which was dinner and drinks in a restaurant that then turns in to a club and then on to other bars from there.

I went to Nottingham (as it's where most of us met at uni, and is fairly central to where we all live now). Went to a beauty salon for the afternoon for cake and treatments, then out for dinner, then the mother and MIL went home, then on to a dingy club where you stick to the floor. It was brilliant. I especially loved it as a lot of people there weren't stick-to-the-floor-club sort of people!
