    • Which county do you live in?

London - EDIT: LOL not idea why I read that as country!

    • How long have you been engaged for?

Two years-ish. OH is the tracker. I asked him as despite the 'if we get married' hints he wasn't up to meeting my post-40 timescale.

    • Where did you meet your OH?

On t'internet. We were on several groups in common (lol geeks) and after a number of meets we found we worked together ... and I wasn't going to steal his car!?

    • Do you have a 'theme' For your special day?

Not really. A big mix of purples, splashes of yellow for the bees and bubbles. That's as theme-y as we're being. OH has mooted other themes but as after the venue was booked they'd not work. We're looking at a mimi-gp Sten and honeymoon in Spa (Formula 1 Fans) but nothing agreed yet.

    • What's been your best wedding bargain so far?

    Our venue.

    • Is there anything you haven't enjoyed so much about planning your wedding?

    Nothing really. I like planning.

    • Have you planned a honeymoon?

Yes and no. If I get my bonus then it will be the one I plan, if not I'll let OH do his.

    • What's the best tip/piece of advice you've picked up on this form so far?

Read all the advice and remember, there are no rules, do what you want.

    • What's your dress like?

Lovely. Not Wedding-dressy in the traditional way, but perfect for me

    • Have you planned a honeymoon? Thailand for 10 days

    • Which county do you live in? Officially County Durham but still Cleveland to me.
    • How long have you been engaged for? 6 months
    • Where did you meet your OH? We knew of each other as he vaguely knew my ex and would say the occasional hello. Our first proper conversation was in a nightclub.
    • Do you have a 'theme' For your special day? No theme as such, just random bits of the things we're into which so far includes F1, lego and rum. I'm a bit concerned that all of this won't come together at the moment!
    • What's been your best wedding bargain so far? Nothing unfortunately, so far everything has cost way more than expected!
    • Is there anything you haven't enjoyed so much about planning your wedding? Communicating with suppliers and waiting for them to email back. I love looking at ideas but have no patience when it comes to actual organisation.
    • Have you planned a honeymoon? We had our hearts set on Mexico after going there six years ago but now we've looked into it we are trying to decide between there, St Lucia and Antigua.
    • What's the best tip/piece of advice you've picked up on this form so far? Advice on where to begin and what order to book things in. I wouldn't have known where to start without you guys!
    • What's your dress like? I haven't ordered it yet but it's likely to be Bellissima by Maggie Sottero. Completely different to what I thought I wanted but after trying on over 50 dresses I think this is the one!

Which county do you live in? Herts!

How long have you been engaged for? Hmmm... we never got engaged. Just made the decision that it was inevitable a few weeks after we got together. Bought engagement rings and booked a venue in November though, so i'll say then!

Do you have a 'theme' for your special day? Not a chance, unless the theme is 'Random Stuff That We Like'

What's been your best wedding bargain so far? My bridesmaid’s dresses! £59 a pop. Mentally budgeted about £250 each so felt awesome.

Is there anything you haven't enjoyed so much about planning your wedding? Dress shopping. Horrendous.

Have you planned a honeymoon? Yeah, we're going to Cape Verde, can't wait! A whole week of child free all inclusive sunshiney bliss. Just me, her, warm skin and our kindles. Too excited.

What's the best tip/piece of advice you've picked up on this form so far? Tit tape is essential! Also, do what you want and not what others want you to do. Oh, and tell the photographers which pics you want so nobody gets missed.

    County: Hertfordshire

Engaged for 7 months (wow, can't believe it's been that long already!)

Met OH at university. SOUTHAMPTON BABY!

Theme: erm, autumn/Halloween with a touch of game of thrones thrown in for good measure Smiley winking

Best bargain: my dress I suppose. Way less than I had thought I would spend so that's good.

I haven't found any of it particularly enjoyable (dress shopping aside). My current stress is flowers. Not enjoying this AT ALL.

Best advice: loads actually, it's hard to pinpoint one thing. I was so naive when I started planning!

Dress is Phyllis by Maggie sottero. Ivory over blush tulle skirt with a sheer beaded back. I'm still having wobbles over it :-/

ETA forgot honeymoon! Nothing planned yet. Probably mini moon at luxury spa hotel in UK for a few days with a bigger trip planned next year.

    • Guestlists. People throwing their toys out the pram about not knowing every detail. NEITHER DO WE!!!

    • What's been your best wedding bargain so far?

    • What's the best tip/piece of advice you've picked up on this form so far?
    • Seeing how varied people's plans are, which has make me realise you don't have to conform to a certain style or plan of the day (even thought our wedding is far more traditional in terms of a 3 course sit down meal etc than I ever thought it would be!)

    • What's your dress like?
    • Maggie Sottero Emma - strapless, sweetheart neckline, lace, beads, slim fitting, train

    • East Sussex (town of sunny Eastbourne)
    • How long have you been engaged for?
    • Almost 14 months
    • Where did you meet your OH?
    • It was a blind date set up by his cousin at a pub restutant called the lamb in

    • What's been your best wedding bargain so far?
    • My oh would most likely say nothing has been a bargin, but I think our tog £750 all day, photobooth album 2 mini albums and 40prints(we got a great discount for paying early) and caterer £1500 for a three course and canapés (was quoted £4000 for what we wanted by some others) the joys of the exspensive South coast
    • Is there anything you haven't enjoyed so much about planning your wedding?

    • The start of the planning was a bit tough our first venue messed us around we had to change the date 3 times to suit them then decided to move venues and bring the wedding forward a year. Also negative comments from one of my bm who has now stopped which really pleased about and making the planning more enjoyable.

    • Which county do you live in? Worcestershire now, originally from West Midlands tho
    • How long have you been engaged for? It'll be 20 months from engagement to wedding, been 18 months so far! Would ahve got wed last year but our venue didnt have the availabilty
    • Where did you meet your OH? Kind of at work, I was working part time whilst back at uni, he was milling about drinking tea where I worked and we had brief chats in the kitchen. He left to go elsewhere and that was that. Eight months later I found myself thinking about him so found on him on a (now defunct) social networking site (thankfully his name meant he was an easy find) and asked him out! He replied pretty much instantly and we ahd our first date a couple weeks after, our second date the day after the first, and we were pretty much inseparable from the start Smiley smile
    • Do you have a 'theme' For your special day? Um, really its just english country garden/pastels/flowers/its in a barn.
    • What's been your best wedding bargain so far? I think my ONLY bargain has been my veil, I think everything else has cost as much or more than I thought it might.
    • Is there anything you haven't enjoyed so much about planning your wedding? I did have a mini 'nobody loves me' at one point all overly dramatic and overly emotional like, as I felt we were lacking a little in friends, but that wasnt so much a wedding planning thing, more a 'once in a blue moon i do this' thing! Ive really enjoyed planning it, its been mega chilled, no stresses, really good!
    • Have you planned a honeymoon? Yes - we're driving to Italy, Piedmonte region for a week of good food, good wine, great scenery, in a little boutiquey hotel. Stopping in France for a couple of days on the way. We still have to book our hotels for on the way home though, must get on with that...
    • What's the best tip/piece of advice you've picked up on this form so far? Oh I cant think of any specific tips, just generally its been a good place to be excited about weddings, and have the odd vent! Oh though I did find my veil ladies email on here so that was good!
    • What's your dress like? Awh Im biased obviously but its beautiful, its floaty, light, romantic, has the most beautiful sparkly sequinned underlayer, and chiffony outlayer embroidered with flowers and dragonflies...its delicious and I cant wait to wear it!!

ETA Im sorry I dont know why its in massive bold font!! thats not how I wrote it!!

    Since November 2012

Not really. Reception venue is a barn so kind of a country wedding I suppose?

What's been your best wedding bargain so far?
Both my dress and shoes were half price, and I didn't know before choosing either of them.

Is there anything you haven't enjoyed so much about planning your wedding?
Everyone else's opinions. We both have opinionated mothers.

    • Which county do you live in?

West midlands, however I am from the East Midlands. Which is rather bizarre as to get to my home town from my current time you travel mostly North! LOL!

    • How long have you been engaged for?

    Since December 2013 (Friday 13th!) soooo…. 1 year and 4 months.

    • Where did you meet your OH?

At a rave! Or online…… well at the rave following a forum chat online with a bunch of other people.

    • Do you have a 'theme' For your special day?

Not a solid theme however it has a very summery / outdoorsy / floral / teaparty / fete / gardeny feel about it.

    • What's been your best wedding bargain so far?

Bridesmaids dresses reduced from £89 to £29 and also my wedding dress on the sale rail which was £900 ½ price to £450.

    • Is there anything you haven't enjoyed so much about planning your wedding?

Deciding on Day Guests versus evening as well as the backlash from making decisions on peoples involvements too soon.

    • Have you planned a honeymoon?

Yes, I wanted to buy a house first as I’m sensible but H2B who wears his heart on his sleeve won this particular argument and our money is going on HM. We’re off to Cuba – 4 nights Havana and 10 nights Varerdo, which we fly off to exactly 2 months after the wedding day =)

    • What's the best tip/piece of advice you've picked up on this form so far?

The lady who mentioned putting handlotion on her ring finger! My ring is very snug as it is and every time I’ve visited the venue its been rather warm so this will help.

    • What's your dress like?

Eerrrr… not sure. A line, strapless, had embroidery detailing on it. fairly simple train, zip back rather than tie. Off-white I think, possibly ivory. Nothing fancy. Certainly not designer. I don’t wear labels so wont start for my wedding! Bl00min love it though!

Which county do you live in? Cheshire.

How long have you been engaged for? About 9 months.

Where did you meet your OH? At a gig in a pub in Chester - he was a friend of a friend of a cousin.

Do you have a 'theme' For your special day? Not really, just mint, blue and white colours. We're also trying to incorporate some subtle references to The Prisoner TV show (bit geeky I know) as we got engaged at Portmeirion! (and love the show!)

What's been your best wedding bargain so far? The venue - it's not a bargain as such but we feel like we got the best we could for our money and guests. It's a minimum spend rather than venue hire/package so it means we can have more of what we want food/drink wise for our money.

Is there anything you haven't enjoyed so much about planning your wedding? The venue hunt was stressful, trying to budget without having any idea how much things are meant to cost, trying to work out the guest list, trying to keep everyone happy, trying to have the day we want without offending anyone, negotiating, decision making, I've found it all quite stressful tbh!

Have you planned a honeymoon? Not yet - we're getting married in January, and don't want to go anywhere far flung, so will probably plan something after the wedding for the summer.

What's the best tip/piece of advice you've picked up on this form so far? That it's OK to stick to your guns as long as you keep a bit of consideration of what your decisions mean for others.

What's your dress like? It's a Forget me Not Francesca - so tea length with sparkly lace and a sash with a flower. I was (and still am) worried it's too fussy but I knew no other would compare so went for it!
