Where To Get Married Abroad? Advice please...

PurpleMo22, 25 September, 2012 at 11:14 Posted on Honeymoons & Getting Married Abroad 0 3

Hi all,

We are thinking of getting married abroad as between the families there are a few tensions. We want everyone to be happy for us, but this is proving difficult!!

We also have a very low budget & so were thinking of getting married abroad to not only avoid some family disbutes but also try & keep the costs down.

Can anyone suggest somewhere nice but reasonable for April next year?

Thanks in advance,

Morgane

How far are you prepared to travel, and what's your budget (not including dress/rings etc)?

I think for the time of year the carribean/mexico would be a nice option for the weather because April is pretty much much out of season for European weddings... xx xx

    Hello

What kind of wedding would you like, and where would be your ideal location? Would you like a beach wedding, in a gorgeous venue, somewhere casual ? There are so many beautiful locations and options available. Again depending on where you would want to fly and how long you would like to stay away? Will it be just the two of you. Its so dfficult sometimes to try and please everyone, but dont make this feel like you have to go abroad to celebrate. However, I can understand your situation. Italy, Cyprus, Greece, Ibiza are all very popular locations and of course im going to add NYC. Different countries also have various legalities in place so it might be worth finding a company who can assist you with this. I would suggest you and your fiance spent a little time thinking about how you would both like to celebrate your wedding, locations that you may both like and go from there.

If you fancy New York, you know where I am.

Have you considered cuba if you're on a tight budget, its a wonderful country.

I just got back from a holiday there and saw a few weddigns in the resort/ on the beach and they were beautiful,

hope you find your perfect wedding venue
